This was a cozy Valentine's dinner. They had a one night special for Valentine's day on Saturday before hand. They are not typically open for dinner. However the food was delicious! The beer jalapeno Mac and cheese was awesome! Chicken breast was moist and very flavorful. Their sirloin with fig sauce was cooked perfectly. Though the fig sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. P.S. if you go here try and get one of their giant bacon chocolate chip cookies it's heavenly!

After staying the night in Ontario, OR my wife and I drove through Fruitland and found the Black Cow Cafe on Google Maps and decided to stop in for breakfast before heading to Wyoming. Great food, great service and a top notch little cafe with very clean restrooms. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I wish we would have had more time to stay and try their lunch/dinner menu

This is a very authentic redneck food and authentic redneck service and environment, and when something is authentic I really appreciate it.

This place is amazing! Their sandwiches are a thing of beauty. The meat is piled high and the bread is soft and fresh. Nice selection of pastries, beer, hard cider, and soda. Prices are reasonable. Their sandwiches do take some time to make as they are all handcrafted right then and there. This is not Subway! You will not be disappointed.

This is by far one of the most underrated eateries in Idaho. The sandwiches are fantastic. Not just the portion size, but the freshness and flavor too. I love the Herbivore sandwich and their macaroni & cheese. So good! I will be back soon.

The food is amazing, I'll give them that. But the service we experienced left a lot to be desired. They forgot my order. And when I asked for it they wanted me to pay again. Again forgot half my order and when I got that, it was wrong. This is with four people behind the counter. Did not try to make it up to me to ensure a return customer. They sure were busy getting pictures to put on Facebook though. So that's important. Not sure is I still return.

Friendly staff, outstanding humongous sandwiches...so much meat you can barely bite it. I got the Holy Cow and it was delicious and real thinsliced roast beef about 2 inches thick.
