Hip little coffee spot. Very cool place to meet or get a little work done. Coffee was very fresh and delicious. Service was great and attentive. Lots of different choices of drinks and even cold brew on tap. Prices are little less expensive than some of the other corporate coffee places. Food looked great and menus was inviting, perhaps next time I'm in I can have a bite too.

I had a latte and waffle. The latte was luke warm and waffle was doughy. So I recommend you request a certain temp when ordering your coffee. Everything had good flavor

These folks inherited the Grumpy Monkey (one of our favorite local coffee shops) and folded it into their more urbane roasting and serving outfit. More loftish and sleek now. Coffee is refined and world focused. Best of all they retained a few of the signature recipes (try the Mexican) and the waffles are a great distinctive touch not offered elsewhere in CDA.

I moved to North Idaho from Western WA in April. One thing I missed being a Seattlite was good coffee! I had been disappointed with weak coffee/bitter roasts/lacking richness....etc, everywhere I had tried.
Until!!! I found Union Roasters. By a huge margin the best coffee I have had since moving, and on par with the best quality coffee houses in Seattle. Being that I am dairy-free they also have great milk alternatives, including hemp (my favorite). Give their organic cardamom syrup a try, it's the bomb. They also have fabulous in-house baked goods, and possibly the best gluten-free cookies I've tried.
Drop the coffee you have in your hand right now, and try Union.

Very delicious lunch of croissant turkey sandwich and chicken rice soup. Also delicious desserts. A little bit slow on getting our food, but since it's more of a coffee shop than a restaurant, it was fine. Cool casual atmosphere. Plenty of seating.

Delicious food & coffee! The waffle was amazing. 😍 quiet working environment, steps from a taco stand if you need a heavier meal. Highly recommend!

Just stopped in here on their soft opening. Met who I think was their owner, forgot to ask his name. I'm pretty picky about coffee/espresso and this cappuccino was excellent. Bought a bag of beans as well for some pour over. Great vibe and would recommend this place for studying/working!
