Best place on the water front for coffee and snacks. And they use Kona coffee beans, grown on the owners farm in Captain Cook. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The "Blondie" brownies...oh my!

Arrived a little late to the strip for sit down breakfast, so I went to Kona Haven Coffee for a quicker meal to start my day. Got my breakfast sammie and coffee within about 15 min of walking inside and standing in line. Luckily, I found outdoor seating nearby and enjoyed the best sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich I've never had. The croissant was crispy and warm with a decent size piece of sausage and egg. Very filling and felt less heavy than other quick breakfast options. And of course, the coffee is just so smooth. I would return often if I lived nearby!

The coffee was good. But the food was not worth the money, especially when we realized the lady from the counter went into the kitchen to unpack the chocolate tarte out of sealed plastic to serve it to us a little later. The muffins seemed to be handmade though (we had a blueberry and an almond one).

Great view of the water but right next to the road and a construction site. During the day it’s loud with cars going by and construction noises. But at night it’s well lit and peaceful.
Inside the cafe there is music playing and nice staff. They seem happy and will answer all your questions and serve you. Very cute interior decoration. They sell just about everything you could want from coffee to ice cream to coffee beans and even full meals! You can sit at the kitchen counter and watch your food being hand made.
Paid $11 for 3 decent size scoops of ice cream in a cup. We also ordered all the smoothie flavors, iced coffee, the special latte and the papaya yogurt. All of them were fantastic! This ended up being our got to spot during the week we spent in Kona. We loved the great cool breeze they get and sitting in the shade. We even watched the sun set over the water it was gorgeous!

Walking distance from the hotel we were staying at, I got my usual cold brew with 2 blonde shots and it was the best cold brew with blonde shots I've ever had! I'm liking this Kona Coffee ☕. My wife got the Tai Iced Tea and she is pretty picky with her Tai Iced Teas and shelved hers as well!
Their farm is literally less then 13 miles from the store! Definitely coming to this place every morning of my vacation.
Great vibe and great owner and great staff.

Terrible Bitter coffee. Rude service. Male barista said he didn’t want to give us the last of his 1/2 and 1/2. Was he saving it for later?? Charged us $12! for one drink, 4 shots with whole milk. Won’t be going back.

Coffee, smoothies, sandwiches are a 5/5. Cold brew was amazing. Customer service was a 2/5. I would not pre-tip next time.
The staff that took my order was nice but due to a miscommunication, one of our sandwiches did not get ordered with the proper stuff inside. One of the other sandwiches was just made wrong. I pre-tipped the amount, with four sandwiches and four drinks, it was about $15 tip. The person who remade my sandwich was kind of rude and put-off by my request even though it was clearly her error. The other I was asked to pay the difference for. Eventually another person, manager maybe, sorted everything out but not before they made me feel like I was trying to be difficult. If I had known the service would be like this, I’m definitely not tipping ahead of time. Businesses with counter service only should only request to tip after you receive your order.

Delicious coffee, and great staff. We all really liked the décor too. It's right next to a volleyball court, and we enjoyed watching the games while sipping our coffee.

Husband said black coffee wasn’t as acidic so good in the belly and tasted good. He had the deal of the day. Coffee and bagel. Doesn’t come with cream cheese. That’s extra. I had vanilla late with salmon bagel. Spread only goes on one side. Salmon was fresh!
Update: finally looked at the receipt. Place should be called Kona Robs You... for 1 vanilla latte, 1 black coffee and special bagel it was $21!!! Way over priced and slow service.

We may have come back here every single day. Cold brew nitro! Spam musubi! Cute little cafe! This place basically covered all the needs we were looking for. We have a 3 year old, so there was delicious ice cream and smoothies (for all of us) I had many options of coffee to enjoy from cold brew to regular brewed (and ready to go) to pour over, I may have had all of those several times. It felt like a great place to start off the day! If you can get it there's 3 or 4 seats facing the ocean that allow you to enjoy people watching as well as water watching, win win.
