I found this café during my trip in 2019. The gals in the café/shop were fantastic about answering all my questions. Ended up with several varieties to take back home to share with family and ended up ordering more online. Which arrived before the expected date! By far my favorite is the vanilla macadamia Peaberry. I also love that all of their decaf is still 100% Kona.

Just visited Kona Coffee Cafe and had a wonderful experience tasting all the different flavors of coffee. The staff was very friendly and spoke at length about the different coffees and flavors the have grown and brewed. Sita is who we spent much of our time speaking with and she was the absolute best!

For anyone who loves to love coffee, you won't find a more straightforward and delicious way to enjoy such a rare bean. Don't be shy! Ask to sample everything, because you'll want to buy some by the bag and it can be difficult to choose from such a selection (do try the Peaberry). If you do purchase in bulk you won't have to worry about stuffing it in your luggage, because shipping will be included.

We went here after this place was recommended to us by a friend, and unfortunately we weren’t that impressed. We are really into good coffee (we usually get it freshly roasted from a local roaster and consume within 2-3 weeks), so the bar is pretty high. None of the roasted coffees for sale at this place have the roasted date on them, which could mean the freshness is no different than a grocery store whole bean. The lady behind the counter said the roasted date depended on how quickly the coffee sold, but still didn’t know the exact time. It was also extremely expensive $15 for a tiny bag (4oz). Our takeaway was this place is a tourist trap for people staying in Kona wanting “good coffee”, but there are many other places to get fresher and better value coffee.

Great coffee and a massive (almost overwhelming) selection. Prices are a little high but that's just Hawaii. Take your coffee out back and sit on the break for some great views.

The lady working there is so friendly and funny. Good coffee and smoothies.

We sampled many kinds of amazing coffee and finally settled on 6 different kinds. They offered to ship it to us, 2 days after we arrived home we had our coffee. Great people to deal with.

The best coffee I've ever had! I enjoyed it so much I got a bag for each of my family members as gifts, and then had some shipped to my home. The Kahlua Cream flavor is the perfect dessert drink, but you really can't go wrong with any of the flavors and roasts. They have a huge variety in decaf which is awesome. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, or placing an order online if you want the Kona coffee experience from home.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. We were able to taste samples of the coffees we wanted to purchase, and even got free shipping on what we did purchase. It was an easy way to get gifts home and not have 7lbs of coffee take up room in our suitcase!
