Kona Coffee Cafe

Greetings from Seattle! On my first trip to Kona I knew I wanted to get myself a bag of Kona coffee. The peaberry roast from Kona Coffee Cafe exceeds my expectations. The lower acidity means I can enjoy a few cups throughout the day.

We walked here from our inn and we were greeted with smiles and alohas! It was such a friendly way to wake up. The baristas are both so kind and make casual small talk with you while they are making the amazing drinks. They even offer free taste tests of their delicious coffee.

My husband had a cup of their totally fairly priced and completely delicious kona coffee and I had one of their delicious smoothies and we shared a chocolate chip muffin.

We walked from the shop to back of the store complex where you can sit and drink your coffee watching the ocean waves crash over the rocks.

We came back every morning of our stay in Kona. We refused to try any other coffee/breakfast shops as we found this place on our first day and had to keep coming back for more. Such a wonderful start to the day, please make your way over to this shop!

My family was in Kona from November 5th thru the 15th. I was we were there almost every single day. Ya!! They're that good. Bought some coffee so we can bring the island home. Thank you for making a great product. Shout out to all the staff that helped us.

My initial review of Kona coffee was quite alarming because I must’ve gotten a bad batch of Peaberry. However, the company was very responsive and sent me out new bag of coffee beans and it has been delicious!! Possibly, the BEST coffee I’ve ever had (sorry Starbucks!).

My husband and I took a stroll to Kona Coffee Cafe with low expectations. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest barista, given endless samples of coffee and chocolate-covered coffee beans and left with two delicious drinks! I highly recommend the frozen blended vanilla-mac nut coffee. DELICIOUS! We left after purchasing 3 bags of coffee for others as well as a bag of chocolate-covered coffee beans (now deemed "crazy beans" in our house). And I know we will be ordering more when we run out!

A mom and pop type shop seems to be ran by a family. They are all amazing friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee blends and even do sample tasting! It was amazing enough that we were here multiple times to get our morning brew!

My husband and I visited the Big Island in Sept. 2021 and stumbled upon this café while out shopping. The women working there were so friendly and patient with every customer, even though they were swamped. Each time they explained the difference between medium and dark roast coffees with samples offered, told the story of how the Peaberry coffee is derived/created, and helped each customer who wanted to purchase bags of coffee find the right type for them personally. We enjoyed talking with them about the Green Bay Packers, whom they were quite familiar with to our surprise, and returned 3 times during our vacation. On our last visit, I finally decided to buy a bag of Peaberry coffee to take home with me. When my bag ran out I panicked, I had fallen in love with this amazing coffee. Luckily, they had a sticker on the bag on how to reorder because I was hooked! I ordered, got free shipping, and the new bag arrived 5 days later. Super quick shipping/turn-around and I never pay for shipping. I've checked other suppliers for price comparison, but Kona Coffee Café is the best option for me ... plenty of size choices, and they also offer and ship other Hawaiian goodies. The Peaberry isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth the splurge for me.

Excellent kona coffee. My wife and I encountered Kona Coffee Cafe many years ago while in HI. We continue to order their amazing flavored and decaf 100% pure kona coffee multiple times per year. We haven't encountered any quite as flavorful and perfectly roasted as KCC's coffee. We will gladly continue to buy their excellent coffee!

We visited the Big Island twice--in September 2021 and January 2022--and both times we visited Kona Coffee Cafe. Hands down, best coffee and best service on the entire island. We pick up coffee each time we visit and just ordered more--it's worth every penny!

The best coffee I have ever had! I get this shipped to Michigan. It is the only coffee I will drink.
