Kapiolani Coffee Shop-Waimalu

In one word: Meh. There is a picture of crepes on google... there's not crepes on the menu. Also it says breakfast all day on the menu, but I tried to order French toast and they said they could only do that before 11AM. Service is just okay, food is just okay.

Has large oxtail soup. Portion not as large as I expected for the price. Broth is rather salty and they dont seem to have unsalted broth to reduce the saltiness. Also the broth is rather light/thin.

Oxtail soup is out of this world! Almost as good as Aiea bowls but they don't have a ponzu sauce like Aiea serves.

Stopped here because we wanted to try local coffee shops. Should not be called a coffee shop. It's food. They have black coffee though. Probably has amazing food. But very confusing for visitors.

The Food taste great and the price is reasonable. It has a quiet vibe so you can just enjoy your meal. And you don't have to wait long to get your meal.

Get the oxtail soup. The end.

Awesome food and service is outstanding. Pleasure to have a meal there anytime and the staff makes you feel at home.

Love the Oxtail soup. Cash only though, if I remember correctly. Parking sucks during lunch, but fine for breakfast.

Food and service very good. The portions are filling! I would readily recommend this place!
