Cutest place ever with so many options I wouldn’t expect!! I was so excited to try the local coffee shop and it was amazing. Madison had the best attitude and she was very knowledgeable of each menu item. Definitely going back !!!!

1st time having lunch there, and everything was freah & awesome! Had the BLT and fries which were both amazing. My son had the burger with duck egg which was truly a 1/2 lbs and loved it. Will visit again when back in town!
PS. Learned all their baked goods are made fresh everyday at thier facility down the road!

The food isn’t that great. The service isn’t good either. They’re always understaffed. The blonde girl that works up front is extremely rude. The pizza is bomb I recommend calling for to go or DoorDash so you don’t have to interact with the staff

I’m glad Sugar Magnolia is back up and running. The renovations and new menu have a lot of potential; however, the last two times I’ve been to the restaurant from Sunday brunch have been disappointing. Although the food was fine, the customer service was well below average. I can’t tell you the names of either server, because they didn’t introduce themselves. In particular, our most recent visit was a bust. I arrived after my friends had sat down. They already had their drinks, but it took the server 20 minutes to come back to the table and get my drink order. By that time, we already ready to order food. There were four of us, and he didn’t write down any of our orders. That’s not impressive in the slightest. That’s anxiety evoking. Please, just write down the order. After waiting for a hour, we finally got our food. Except I didn’t get my order. I reminded the server of my order, and they had it out within 10 minutes. You could tell they just threw it together. It just wasn’t the quality you would expect from a menu like that. I would like to note that my meal was compensated. The gesture was nice, so thank you. Overall, the ambiance is good. The food is tasty, but the customer service needs some modifying. It would have been nice to see a manager walking around and greeting guests. I intended this review to serve as a constructive critique for the management and staff at Sugar Magnolia.

Disappointing. Third time I've tried this place. First time with friends, appetizers, (mussels and salmon rillette)were wonderful. Entrees were good but over salted. Second time, ordered appetizers on line. Order wasn't ready when I arrived. (They couldn't find the order). Fortunately it was good. Third time, (last night) very disappointing. Carbonara - fresh made pasta, not so. Angel hair pasta out of the box, in a watery butter sauce. Tasteless. Steak frites- ordered medium rare, served medium. Bourbon affogato used ice milk instead of ice cream. I doubt I'll go there again.

They took great care of us for Sandy's 50th birthday. Food was great. Service was wonderful.

We greatly enjoyed our meal at this place! All of their tacos are simply AMAZING! We particularly enjoyed the ahi tuna taco and the shrimp taco! The steak taco was also amazing! Would definitely recommend, especially if you are looking for a unique tasty eat in the area!

Sugar Magnolia is always great! The servers are attentive and the food is delicious. I love going for brunch they have three flavors for mimosas and they also offer bottomless mimosas!

Excellent pasta dishes and desserts, all made in-house. Sophisticated and welcoming environment. A true cosmopolitan Statesboro retreat. Bobby is a fabulous guide for all things cuisine! The Head Chef, Jordan, is constantly curating new, interesting, and creative menu options.
