Great local spot for some american classics. Had the eggs benedict.

The bacon and ham were a bit salty but the corn beef hash and holindaise were perfection.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating to our 18 month old.

I'm like Native local and can't believe I've never done a review on Café Fred!
Anyway, we ate breakfast there this morning, bright and early. The food was awesome, as usual. My wife had French Toast for a change and I know from experience, it is the best!!
Our server, a young woman (Employee E on the ticket) was excellent! She had the place by herself for a brief time but gave us and everyone else top notch service and a genuine smile, as well.
Great to see BOTH trains running so well and being a model train person, I really enjoyed that bonus.

Everything was great. Our service was also on point. The servers seemed to work as a team and that was nice to see. I was recommended the cinnamon rolls because they were “huge” but they seemed to be on the average side. No real complaints though!

Friendly staff and great tasting food. The Eggs Benedict with Salmon was amazing. Hubby had the 3 egg omelet with crabmeat and French toast. He enjoyed it. We'll be back again when we want a great breakfast!

Cafe Frederica offers a great breakfast and is my family's go to on St Simons. The biscuits with chipped beef gravy and the cinnamon rolls are my favorite. The service is also good and if you've got kids they'll love the breakfast and the train that chugs its way around the ceiling.

Be aware that on the weekends or summer it will be crowded and there might be a wait. If you're a party of two you can get around this by sitting at the bar though. Overall I'd say it's worth the wait and a great place to eat.

Loved our sassy waitress the most!! When asked if they had sweet tea, the response was "what state are you in?" 😋 Food was amazing. Cinnamon roll was decadent. Eggs Benedict was divine. It is a kind of hidden location. You wouldn't see it from the street, so don't be scared, find it. Will be a regular spot whenever we visit the island.

What a gem! Flew in for work and was recommended to check the place out. Very friendly environment, cool little restaurant with an awesome menu. I had their omelet which was simple but had quality veggies in it that made it taste great. Next time I'm in town I will come back to try their salmon and blue berry pancakes.

Great food, great staff with personality. We ate there every morning we could. I had eggs benedict several mornings. It was always served hot and they actually use canadian bacon. Most places don't anymore - just ham. Hollandaise sauce was rich, not flat. French toast was great, but the pancakes are good too. Good omelets. People that care.

Excellent breakfast! Homemade cinnamon rolls are exceptional. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The locals are great customers. It’s hard to find, but worth asking a local for directions.

Always great and the staff is awesome. The food is so good. When I go to St Simons I always eat there.
