If you grill your corned beef hash, you’ve won me over. Also their omelettes, French toast and quiche are top notch. Can’t go wrong here. Real good service too.

Visiting from Atlanta and heard about this place.Loved our breakfast that we ordered.I had the French toast with bacon and my husband had the egg and sausage sandwich. Both meals were excellent and our ice tea was the best we had anywhere on the island. Our server was very nice and friendly and brought our food out quickly.I can't recall her name unfortunately. She told us about the other restaurant called Delaney's that we will try.
Wish we could have tried the lunch, but we will definitely come back next time we visit St Simon's.

This was so good, I forgot to take pictures! Skip the wait...the counter has open seating. Plus we got to see that everyone working at the cafe was smiling and happy. Crab eggs Benedict, fried eggs, home fries, biscuits, sausage gravy, cinnamon roll....great portions for the a la carte menu. Highly recommended!

Excellent food but if you have a child that is nervous in crowded or loud places this might not be for you.

Weekend brunch is fabulous. Expect to have a short wait on weekends. Service is good and personnel pleasant but space is limited. Most visitors are repeats or guests of locals or have received a recommendation. Restaurant is off the main road so parking is not a problem. Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch only. Prices are reasonable but not fast food. If U come once, you'll probably come back.

Eggs Benedict were delicious as were the CrabCake Egga Benedict. If you like cheesy grits, these are fantastic

The food was delicious. It had been a long time since I had chip beef. Awesome. The service from the young lady who took our order, to the young men clearing our table, to the cashier was fast and friendly. Five star service all the way.

It's a fun place to hang out.
If you know my reviews you'll know I never give 5stars unless it's absolutely perfect which is hard to attain. People don't pay attention to their surroundings nor do they give detailed reviews to justify their rating which means they don't really care to take the time to actually put in effort to make this world a better place. The world will not change one iota without extreme considerations of courage!
I'm only using Mallory's Cafe as a comparison because I like both places equally.
Like Mallory's Cafe, it's crowded on 2 points. A lot of ppl, many tables. Hardly any space to walk so be careful you don't trip over other people's stuff.
I like this place bc it feels like they give you a lot more food than Mallory's Cafe but they (Frederica) use more butter.
Here they feel like a diner. I don't know if it's because of the deli counter or the train overhead or the vinyl tablecloths or what but it's nice. However it was very cold on there. Felt like they had the A/C on (Jan 1st)! Granted, I may have sat outside to eat there but if I sat outside then that's a choice I made to sit in the cold. When I sit inside I prefer it to be a decent temp. They don't have outside seating, by the way.
I feel like it's location doesn't do it justice. It's a tad hard to get to or park unless you ride your bicycle (which is preferred among locals!).
They are cleaner than Mallory's is. But Mallory's has a great guy that works there that's right on top notch of his breed as a waiter & a gentleman! He's funny & polite, too!
Food portions are good. Service is decent (1st time there). Food is good but cold, overcooked a tad with lots of butter.
It reminds me of going to diners with my grandparents. Nostalgia aside, I like Mallory's better. I love the fact they advertise how involved they are with community & how they support it by placing artist's work on their facility.
Thanks for the visit, Frederica! We'll return!

This place has a wait which is understandable due to low staff however there is no system to make things flow properly here. The one young lady who was in charge of the register was less than helpful and somewhat rude to everyone who walked in and asked any questions. The rest of the staff were very helpful and kind. The eggs Benedict were delicious, the stuffed blueberry French toast which was on special was mushy. A little over priced for what it is, other places around town offer more bang for your buck.
