I'm was a customer to by coffee and sweet bread. But after 15 minutes inside sitting in a table with all my family visiting me from other estate somebody from the staff member kik me out and my family just for carry my pistol inside my holster. I feel sad and piss off cause I'm American citizen and i have carry weapons License permits in Georgia. They don't have any signs front the this shop weapons restrictions. I think isn't right. I share a couple pictures from the front store to proof my evidence. Thanks... the coffee was good but you'll not permit me enjoyed.

The best vegan/vegetarian menu I've encountered since arriving in Savannah. There is a large que for a reason. Not to be missed.

Visited the cafe based on a recommendation from a family member of mine who lived in the Savannah area. It’s right off of Forsyth park and definitely a local spot. I really enjoyed my coffee and appreciated the fact that they use containers that can be composted there. The ambience is pretty relaxed as well. I got the egg and cheese croissant. It tasted great except the edges of the croissant were too hard to eat - which made me feel like it wasn’t fresh. They were also painting the bathroom a few feet away from where I was eating and I had to move because the fumes were bothering me while I was eating.

I normally love the sentient bean. I travel to Savannah for work and always eat there. However, today when ordering delivery, not only was the delivery person not very friendly, my egg and cheese croissant was made with half a croissant and half a slice of toast. I also ordered to giant smoothies and still received a small. For what I paid I’m extremely disappointed.

My husband and I went here because it had such great reviews and we love getting coffee/espresso-based beverages together. Unfortunately, neither of us could taste the espresso in our drinks. We both got different lattes and they both just kind of tasted like warm milk. It could have just been an off day, but it was just a little bit disappointing. Maybe we'll give it another chance next time we come to Savannah.

A favorite destination. We often stay just north of Forsyth Park when in Savannah, and a walk through the park to end at Sentient Bean for coffee, or better yet for breakfast, is an enjoyable part of every trip. They really do have good coffee. They also have good breads that we always get - like chocolate chip banana bread or blueberry-poppy-seed-lemon. And their breakfast burritos and tacos are worth trying! The Sentient Bean is always on our list of places we go back to when we are in Savannah (typically more than one stop here)

Excellent vegan and vegetarian menu. I ate here two days in a row and really enjoyed it.

Coffee was good, customer service was okay. I felt the person at the counter could have been a little more personable.
No sugar free chocolate syrup. For a coffee shop not to have sugar free chocolate In a busy area is a surprise. There are lots of people who cannot have it for various reasons... mocha are one of the most common drinks people order so if I were to offer a suggestion-- please include that to cater to more people.
Other than that, they coffee shop is very nice inside and the coffee is delicious!

Not worth your time or money! The hot coffee tasted like dirt water. The cold coffee tasted like sweet milk no coffee flavor at all. The cashier was not pleasant and acted like she was mad to even be there.
