The Open Door at Alley's Ol' Store

The sandwiches were delicious and the people working there are super nice and friendly. I’m super thankful we stopped.

I loved this place, it is beautiful and very cozy, the people in this store are very friendly and helpful, they have some very delicious sandwiches, I definitely recommend it.

Such a beautiful place. My wife and I have visited and revisited over the past many years, and neither the staff nor the food has disappointed. The staff is always so welcoming, food is beyond tasty... Lakemont is a slice of heaven, why not have friendly faces and a great lunch while you're there?

If you're in the Tahulla falls area, this is a must do little general store with great food. It's located in lakemont just a few miles from the state park.

Off the path sandwich shop with homemade everything. Best French soup ever too! Right by the river, plenty of lovely seating outside too. Definitely be back.

I had both the Meatloaf sandwich and Cinnamon Brown Sugar shake and they were excellent. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. We will be back.

A top notch tuna melt!! Worth going back for weekly I must say. Staff is friendly. A nice selection of wares downstairs and up while waiting on food. My only only only suggestion: Store-brewed sweet tea. It will be soooo much better and will rid us of additional plastic bottles.

I almost don’t want to write this review as I want this place all to myself. Tucked away in the North Georgia mountains this beautiful and delicious restaurant / shop offers the best Turkey sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Paired with wonderfully warm staff, this place is a must visit. And they wear masks!!

The open door at Ally's old store is a great little place. Still set up like the old store was. You serve cold and hot sandwiches and you can shop around they have drinks, wine, beer. It's just a great little place to visit put you back in time and relaxing. Across the street there's a swing down by the creek and a picnic area for the customers of this shopping area.

Fell in love with this place from the moment that we walked in the door a very Nostalgic Environment filled with warm smiles and friendly people. Not to mention the food was phenomenal a simple sandwich shop that has so much class. I encourage anyone in this area to stop by grab a beer or glass of wine And here the story of how this amazing place come about while also enjoying a beautiful scenery.
