The Open Door at Alley's Ol' Store

This is a great off the beaten path general store restaurant. Sandwiches were good and there is an outdoor seating area.

Great place in Lakemont with good hand mixed foods. Freshly prepared salads and quiches and more. Service was great and attentative. Very friendly people. Atmosphere was great with old store feel and real vinyl playing. I would reocmmen if you are in the area to stop in.

Great spot for lunch. Excellent pimento cheese and tuna melt sandwich and homemade strawberry cake.

Very cute inside like stepping back in time, historic. Delicious sandwiches cant wait to get home and try the chocolate cake we picked up for dessert, friendly staff. Eat in or outside on their deck or at a cute park along the river across the street.

My favorite ... 🤗 I absolutely love this place beautiful atmosphere with relaxing comfort. The Harvest Sandwich on Marble Rye is the best ❣️

We visited Thursday after a short hike at Tallulah Gorge before the Nicole rain. Ordered Pimento sandwich, lentil soup, and tomato basil soup. Their pimento was excellent. Also, the lentil soup was very tasty. Yum! Haven't had the tomato soup yet. Lakemont is a nice area, have stayed there before.

Cute little cafe. All the staff were really nice, food was priced fairly and tasted good. I had the turkey and sundried tomatoes panini.

This place was fantastic! It has a lot of history to it, too. Please please try the toasted harvest sandwich. Pretty sure that was the best sandwich I've ever eaten!

Must go! Hidden gem. Great old fashioned "boutique like" sandwich spot. Great history, delicious sandwiches and very cozy. Meatloaf sandwich was delish.
