The Coffee By Hand

They used to have the best ddokboki in Duluth. Visited today but it does not taste right. The rice cake tastes like nothing and does not go well with the sauce either. Won't go back

We ordered the ddukbokki and red bean snow. The ddukbokki was pretty good and a decent size, it was medium spicy and quite spicy for me. The red bean snow (there's a more correct name for it but I can't remember) is very good, which is probably why I gave this place my stars. The price for the set was reasonable (around $15). 2 people can definitely be full with this set.
The setting of the place was beautiful, especially with the Christmas decorations. I love how they decorate their place in little booths which are cozy, cute, and private. The place can be great for studying or social gathering.

Good place to work, meet with friends or spend time alone if you don't mind some noise. However... recently their Wi-Fi speed became slow and sometimes kicks out of network. I know many people go there and use Wi-Fi so I'd recommend them to upgrade their router or improve the internet speed. Other than that this place is great.

The servers look like they're tired of working all the time and seems to not make any eye contact or even bother to smile. The shaved ice there is probably though the best in town that I have tried so far. I am not too sure about their coffee for it is too strong for me but if you like your coffee strong, then this place is for you.

Really relaxing coffee shop. Cool, laid back vibe. The food, snacks and coffee are delicious. Great music. It can get really crowded on the weekends.

A friend of mine and I went here for late night dessert and coffee. We had chosen different flavors of cheesecake, but both of the pieces were old and had spent far too long in a cooler. The outsides and toppings of the cakes had dehydrated, hardened and had absorbed odor from the cooler. It was very off putting. The only positive was that the staff was polite and helpful when I explained what was wrong. They swapped our desserts for the freshest dessert that has been added to the display cooler. Unfortunately, our experience there had already been ruined by the poor quality.of food we had been given to begin with. We won't be returning.

A fun spot and popular place to go relax with friends or study in your lonesome.

Lots of options when it comes to coffee, teas, and pastries/snacks. Enough to keep you coming back for more to try it out.

The atmosphere is really chill and relaxing as most cafes should be.
It has a lot of competition in the area, but like most of them they find a way to succeed.

Keeping this one rather short but it's been for awhile and I don't see it going anywhere either. Once you get the formula of a good cafe down you're all set. Free Wifi a long with caffeine of some sort with dessert is recipe for success in the Duluth area.

Just letting everyone know. Their February 24 health score was a 61U. You decide for yourself if that is ok or not. One of the violations was that the ice machine has a build up of red mold like substance.

The environment is top notch, and I tried their latte and boba tea. The reason I give it 4 stars is because for a shop with coffee in the name, the coffee was sub-par. Especially since it's a latte (which is very simple to make). I did not like their coffee, but everything else was quality. Especially the environment.

Quick service. Seating area very beautiful and social distance quality. I had the plum tea. It was amazing for my first time. Great customer service. Reasonable price.
