Coffee was GREAT! The cashier/barista NOT SO MUCH. I shoulda have asked for his name but I guess he would not have given it since he was ignoring me and pretending he couldn’t hear me half the time. He also took my pictures behind the coffee machine as if I was dumb and blind not to notice it? It scaredme and creeped me out at the same time. If you have a problem - just say it, don’t sneak take pics of customers.
My friend was trying to pay with Apple pay and he was muttering under his breathe complaining he had to put the items in first - We were not rushing him at all but were checking if we can use Apple pay. So I said to his face that it was not very nice of him to talk like that and treat me friend like that. He said he did not say anything - as if we were deaf ? Afterwards, he made one brewed coffee for me and an iced one for NO ONE as my friend ordered Iced latte. So I pointed that out to him - nicely said I think he ordered iced latte. HE COMPLETELY IGNORED ME. Then later when the right latte was ready - he said the iced coffee was for someone else. Funny because there was no one else :)..... We finally sat down and he took his phone out and was obviously taking my pictures and I stared at his phone facing me and when he noticed that, he awkwardly changed the angle to as if he was taking picture of the coffee grinder... what? I called him out the second time he was taking my picture and he said he was taking picture of the coffee grinder. WHAT? You would take the picture of coffee grinder out of no where for what? Lol. I felt like it was an act of racism too.
I hope whoever runs this place sees this. It was Saturday 04/07/2019 in the evening. If you see this - to the jerk who worked that night, shame on. By the way, taking someone’s picture without consent like that - that is a crime dude :)
COFFEE WAS GREAT BTW

Nice for some good quality coffee. Haven't tried any food or other drinks but the atmosphere is nice. Busy street but it's connected to the Greenway. Maybe a nice place to eat or grab coffee and take a wlk.

I love this little coffee shop. The lattes and pastries are amazing and the outdoor seating area is a nice place to enjoy them.

Ordered a decaf americano and it was definitely made with normal caffeinated beans. Having worked as a Barista for many years, this is truly an unacceptable and easily avoided mistake at a coffee shop.
To refer to the owners response:
I am well aware of the processes of decaffeinating coffee (again I was a barista for many years). I am also very attuned to how a caffeinated drink affects me compared to decaffeinated. My drink today was caffeinated without question (heart rate elevated above normal, shaky, etc.).
Either you have an issue with your bean supply, or you are unwilling to admit the possibility that the barista made a mistake. Either way, this is terrible customer service.

Stopped by here today 12/30/2017 30mins before closing time. I went to order a mocha, and told me the espresso machine is done for the day. While the store is still open. Left with disappointment and a hot chocolate. Hot chocolate added an extra star. Thanks barista.

Another combination of great coffee (Counter Culture) and knowledgeable baristas. The decore is nice, if a bit stiff and impersonal. I wish there were more seating throughout (and a better arrangement, now that I think about it).

Directions to Condesa Coffee Shop are good, no problem finding it. Because of construction on outside of building, did not spot immediately, passed it. Drove back because reviews were so good. Asked construction workers where it was and they said unanimously, "On the Corner!" Good sign.
Spacious open enviroment, industrial metal and wood furniture, comfy chairs on perimeter, big windows, lotsa light. Friendly staff, somewhat knowledgeable re: their products.
Coffee good, could have been hotter. They made it again, when I stated as much. Probably my fault for adding milk after the pour. Redid with milk first, coffee temp perfect.
Ordered the "baked oatmeal" interesting idea, probably an easy way to pre-make. Cook oatmeal in the oven, cool, cut in squares, refrigerate and then...voila, add hot milk and you have non-instant, instant oatmeal. Tasted really good, shocking, no need to add sweetner, probably presweetened with something I would never put in it, but enjoyed it.
After sitting here for at least 1.5 hrs., no hassle. I will come back again during my stay in the ATL.
I want to find more places like this!

My first time here, London Fog is surprisingly sweet and delightful. Even though there are Covid restrictions, you can sit in the outside patio area on your laptop

Condesa is my favorite coffee shop in Atlanta. I lived in New York for 7 years and Condesa is comparable in every way to the best NYC coffee shops. The shop is spacious with free wifi and plentiful outlets. What more could you want from a coffee shop?

The baristas have mastered their craft ... or is it are masters of their craft? I've never seen a female barista there. Also, it seems like a cool place to try cocktails, many of which seem specially crafted by Condesa's (male only?) staff.
