I stop by infrequently and when I do, I ask why I am not there more often. I can't recall owners name but he is a pretty chill guy, super knowledgeable about coffee. In fact, he took some time out of his busy morning to respectfully answer my coffee questions.

The Chauffe sandwich thingy is amazing. His partner hand makes the ingredients and she needs a gold medal for this recipe.

Otherwise the space is pretty laid back, lots of space, they have really cool lines of functional health products that tie into coffee, like mushroom creamers and things of that nature.

If you want a cool vibe,.good coffee and all the rest, check it out.

Fantastic coffee. We were greeted as we came in and were recommended to have the popular drink called the flat white. This was the best coffee we have had in a while. The beans were so flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed our visit.

Super cool coffee shop. Bakery items, vegan and gluten free options, handmade, hand pressed coffees with fresh, natural ingredients. I love the decor too!

They know their coffee! They do 12h cold drip which is amazing and they have high quality coffee, the beans comes and go since they are not growing all year around. If you want to know how real coffee should taste like and how different it can taste as well, you should visit Perq Coffee bar :)

We are so incredibly lucky to have such world class coffee here in Sarasota. The owners have true passion, impeccable taste and amazing technique, and it shows in every brew and shot they serve. Perq is an absolute gem. If you love gourmet third wave coffee, or want to know what really REALLY good coffee can taste like, please go here.

I was just coffee-shamed here. I know my penchant for dark roasts means I'm not a true aficionado, but I've never been made to feel unwelcome bc of it. Nor have I ever walked out of a coffee shop without buying anything. So I can't speak to the quality of the drinks or food. But if like the occasional dark roast, or just don't think people who do should be actively discriminated against, you may want to consider going elsewhere.

I'm split on Perq.

The location, service and vibe were great.
The food and drink were meh.
The pricing is absurd.

A cold brew and an avocado toast (of this size) should not cost over $21. I might visit again for the vibe, but I'll probably eat beforehand.

I love coffee although I'm not an expert. I like cheap and expensive coffee the same. But I love a good specialty coffee. I tried Perq's, took one look at the menu and knew I was in uncharted territory. I've never heard of any of the terms. But the barista suggested their most popular Flat White and I asked for a sugar free syrup added. They had sf maple. So I gave it a try. At first I wasn't sure because it was different. It only took a couple of sips to decide I really liked it. It was very thick and creamy. I will definitely go back and try another. I believe he told me the coffee was from Ethiopia. I'm glad I tried it!

The coffee was good, once you figure out their preferred terminology. The seating out front is nice.

First time to a very upscale coffee bar that has knowledgeable staff and one of the best avocado toast (Cali Avo Toast) I have ever had. The Guatemalan Americano on Ice was amazing and paired perfectly with my lunch.

Fast WiFi and comfy couches to relax make this a new favorite place to work for a couple hours a day
