Great atmosphere, love how local musicians all sit around and play music, sounds awesome.
Love the decor, the ambience
Staff is amazing very knowledgeable
Prices for 1 glass is very expensive 12 dollars for 1 glass of a drink is something I cannot afford but the drinks are very tasty especially the chocolate hazelnut milk.
I'll go again.

Any time I'm in town I visit Downtown Kava! I also get to go back with a new sweater and new shirts. Awesome people, place and drinks!

Way over priced, and service is a little rude..... The food truck outside was definitely better than the actual kava bar

Coming from another kava bar owner this place is amazing!!!! Beautiful design and even cooler that it is in such a historical building. I would happily drive the hour from where i live to visit this bar frequently. Krystal was an amazing kava tender as well. Super friendly and outgoing. We will be back for sure!

Always friendly. The kratom drinks are all fantastic.

Absolutely superb operation. It's clear the people running the joint have a deep respect and appreciation for their location. Kava made with coconut water is a rare feature in Florida and made for smooth, strong stuff served with love ❤️

Wow this place has a really comfortable vibe, nice people around, and the guava kava colada is the best tasting kava drink we've ever had by far.

Love the Positive Energy and Vibe here! Great Kava drinks, Excellent Coffee Drinks (Better and cheaper than Starbucks). And the Historic Train Depot Ambiance is like no where else. Just go enjoy it all!

Downtown Kava resides within the historic Punta Gorda Train Depot. The exterior of the building is untouched and original, and has a large porch with outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Florida breeze. The interior is spacious and provides several "living room" seating areas for small to medium groups and a large bar where you can watch the kava-tenders mix up some amazing drinks.
Speaking of drinks, be sure to check out the menu that is posted; they have a great selection of very tasty drinks already, but they'll mix up a custom concoction of your liking if you are creative and want to chart your own path.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the owners, Ryan and Sara, and recognize them for all the awesome work they put into reviving this historic location. Also, Sean and Lang, two of the best kava-tenders I know, work here and provide a welcoming greeting and excellent service.
So, if you are nearby, be sure to stop in, you'll likely find yourself a new hang-out; and if you are in search of a great kava or elixer drink, they are worth the short trip.
