Downtown Kava

This is by far my new favorite place to go to now. It's a nice place to chill and relax. Very nice on the inside and even more beautiful on the outside! I just feel comfortable and welcomed by all the staff. Drinks taste amazing. You can't go wrong coming here and you will not be disappointed!

Great Kava Bar in Punta Gorda. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I had the peanut butter cup kava. Yummy! Great space inside and outside seating as well. I was able to bring my dog and sit outside on the patio and enjoy the evening. When I visited, there was a food truck too. Not sure if it's there all the time or not. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.

I’m not sure if I missed the whole point of this place… maybe I did. Originally I came for the coffee and patio. The patio is great. It’s not a place you can work with a computer from as there doesn’t seem to be any outlets. Also the inside is more of a dark and gloomy vibe and I feel would be hard to work from there. My coffee was ok, I wouldn’t order it again. It was more milk with a shot of coffee. The only food options are muffins. I can see how this could be a vibe for some people, but it just isn’t for me.

This is the place! WOW!! What a great place. The owners Ryan and his wife who are locals to the area have done a great job repurposing this place. From the customer service to just the great ambiance of this place is mind blowing. If you want a place to just chill or have a meeting with a client or just have some time to kill stop in. You will fall in love. Thank you Ryan and to your wife for opening this place. The community needs more places like this that revolves around socializing and meeting face to face with people. I am hoping to be a regular at this place. Hope to support you at the grand opening this Saturday, Again thank you!!

I had no idea what kava was. I had no idea how good CBD could make one feel. I tried this place on a whim. It is now mine and my family's favorite place to hangout. The atmosphere is fantastic, the menu is perfect, the baristas are amazing, the owners are great, the drinks are cold (or hot if that's what you'd like) over all, you need to check this place out!

Variety of drinks. Seating is casual indoor and outdoor. The front of the station is still open and easy access to walk around.

Punta Gorda has a SOBER bar!!! This was such a fun experience. A “tab” was started for us, the staff was awesome and helpful with recommendations. Great atmosphere inside and out at the the old train depot. We had a few things, the white tea elixir was so refreshing & they even had green boost Jell-O shots!

I’ve been to around 90 kava bars and this one is easily in my top 10. They have one of the most unique kava bar menus I’ve seen and have an amazing choice of Kratom based mocktails. The speakeasy theme suits this place very well and it’s in a 100+ year old train station. The space is huge, one of the biggest kava bars I’ve been to. The staff and owners are amazing, especially Sean and Lang!

Popped in for a couple of coffees to go with a little afternoon stroll we were taking. Chose Downtown Kava based on reviews and it being open for our afternoon caffeine fix. First, great looking building! You could tell there were lots of regulars both inside and out, a second gn of a good coffee shop. Second, service was great! Friendly and efficient, taking care of everyone with a smile and lighthearted chat. Third, beverages were delicious! We're going to stop back on our next trip through to sample some of the other menu offerings. (The driveway is a little tough getting into and out of with traffic, but worth the challenge)

Wow. There aren’t even words. Literally feels like you stepped into a different dimension, back in time to a sexy, sophisticated, speakeasy. Absolutely incredible decor and theming throughout. The prices of the drinks are significantly lower and FAR greater quality than local kava bars.

This is by far my newest, most favorite spot!
