Downtown Kava

A piece of history and a place of healing and chilling. I am from Texas but came to stay with a dear friend who is deeply grieving the loss of two immediate family members. We went to Downtown Kava in search of a happy distraction and maybe a new and beautiful experience as a break from heavy emotions. We absolutely found what we were looking for. This place is super groovy and calming in ambiance, and the herbal drinks are delicious and effective. I love the idea of a sober bar and these guys nailed it. The family members of the owners who served us were efficient, friendly and informative about their products, backstory and location. I personally observed a family friendly, pet friendly, diversity friendly environment while I was enjoying drinks with friends. I just can not say enough about the concept and execution and over all experience. Give DK a try and find a new favorite- I did!

The best kava bar around the kavatenders are great and the customer's that come are very friendly it's a great place to just relax or to get work done there is no other place like it

Sarah and Ryan have brought their amazing vision to life at a historic and hospitable location. They have created a great place to meet with friends and family in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to Sarah and Ryan, Krystal, Lang, and Sean are experts at crafting botanical drinks and their personalities are welcoming and wholesome. Downtown Kava will be here for a long time, so I suggest you stop in and get to know them! Bring your dog and try a coffee or the “Fresh to Death” botanical drink!

Awesome place and atmosphere. Drinks are killer and the service is awesome. Both Sean and Lang make you feel welcomed and are fun to hang out with. The kava is brewed in a unique way, setting them apart from others. I highly recommend this place for a truly enjoyable, non-alcohol experience. The decor is well thought out and like stepping back into time, giving one a sense of peace and belonging from the moment you walk in.

This is a great place, excellent drinks, excellent service and awesome drinks. The kavatenders are awesome. I highly recommend coming here.
