Super cute place and friendly staff. First place we visited when we got to Florida. Lots of baked goods to choose from. Comfy atmosphere and good break from a long drive.

Best coffee I've had in a long time. My daughter and I both ordered the "poetccino" I had the caramel and she had the vanilla. It's a frozen coffee. Guys, way better than Starbucks. The inside is so cute and intimate. Next time I go I'm going to try one of their pastries. The only bad thing is the parking lot is pretty small but that'd be the only complaint I have for this place

Coffee drinks are really the best around. The bar seating was cozy and cool.
Barista knows what he's doing. Even iced drinks were good. Lots of flavor.
There is a larger sitting room until 3. Shop closes at 6 during weekdays. Wish it stayed open later for that late night craving.
They do sell their own roasted .

Great coffee shop! Highly recommend! Had the Shakespeare! Absolutely amazing! Service was awesome!

I took a 5 day camping trip and the only cup I brought came from my last coffee run at the Drowsy Poet. It lasted the whole trip. So in addition to delicious beans and great service, DP does not skimp on cup quality.

Workers were extremely friendly. Loved the environment and the shop was so cute. Got the Poe and and iced oat latte. The Poe was sooooo sweet couldn’t finish it and had to dump it. And the oat milk they used tasted slimey. Not sure what brand it was, but it was certainly interesting. Loved the little plants they were selling outside and the cool art inside. Pastries were amazing.

The Drowsy Poet was delightful experience from the moment we walked in. The coffee bean aroma was alluring and we felt welcomed with the very friendly and helpful staff. The Chocolate Cheesecake with a cup of Poe is an amazing combo. If ever in Pensacola again, we will definitely stop by for more delicious coffee and treats. Highly recommending this place, especially for those mornings before PensaCon!

No warning of a 3.75% credit (debit) card convenience fee at the point of sale (required by Florida law) nor is it mentioned anywhere on the website or door of Brent Lane location, and a WiFi code that's supposed to be on the receipt isn't.
Ordered largest Coconut Mocha Poetchino and a bread pudding with amaretto sauce for eating inside. Bread pudding was warm and served with warm amaretto sauce.
Able to leave tip via card, which I did.
Used to love being here, this is first visit inside the location since COVID lockdown in 2020. Arrived at 3:25pm and the large seating area is now closed but no one on staff could explain why. Would attend meetups at this location in years past. Would always buy more drinks if staying longer than 1.5 hours.

This such a cool place to hang out with a good cup of coffee, read, work on sermons, and meet up with a friend. I love the atmosphere here. I only wish there were more places to plug in my laptop.

Good coffee! I always get an iced Milton. But I do wish they changed up their menu and offered monthly coffee specials, like the Drowsy Poet on Navy Blvd. I go to that one more often for that reason.
