Foxtail Coffee Co and Kelly’s Ice Cream - Sand Lake

As a guy who goes to coffee shops to work often, I was happy to find out about a new Foxtail coffee location in my area (Dr Phillips). Foxtail has good coffee to start, but the staff here is exceptionally friendly. This really adds to the experience.

Other pluses to this location are plenty of parking and a large outdoor seating area. Thank you guys for being here.

On the bright side: Their blueberry muffins and chocolate croissants are good.

I won't be surprised if this place gets sued for mistreatment of their employees. I watched one employee last time I was here express concern to - I'm assuming - a manager regarding a coworkers harassment towards them and watched them get an eye roll in response. The coworker they were talking about was one who was staring at my 16 year old niece's chest last time I was in the store, and apparently that manager just doesn't care if the employees are comfortable and doesn't care if guests are either (I spoke to another manager about the issue when he was staring at my niece and clearly that didn't do anything to help the issue), so I unfortunately feel like all I can do is leave a review in hopes that they might FINALLY listen.

Was a great time. Both baristas greeted us upon entering. All the staff was super conversational and was very helpful when picking out what to get. The Florida Chai and Cold Brew were awesome. Highly recommend!

One of the best cafe con leche I’ve ever had & their ICE CREAM is good.

My first time visiting foxtail coffee and I was not disappointed! The staff was very pleasant and helped me pick the perfect drink. Clean shop and fun atmosphere. We don’t have Foxtail where I live but will be sure to visit when back in town!

This place is exactly what a coffee shop should be. In a world where Starbucks has become the McDonald's of coffee, Foxtail is a breath of fresh air. It is locally owned, great environment and most importantly, the staff is great. They also let the employees select the music playlist, which really cool.

The interior was well designed, it seemed comfortable to work from but the drink and staff were a bit of a mess.

Love this place! Great place to get some work or studying done. Plenty of seating inside and outside, and the outside seating is covered, so you aren't sitting out in the rain.

The staff is pretty amazing as well. Everyone remembers my name and greets me by my name when I walk in, and is super friendly and helpful.
My go-to coffee/work/study place in the area!

10/10 experience. Junior explained the menu and ensured everything was perfect and even recommended drinks. Customer service and drinks were excellent. Would recommend to anyone in the area or even just visiting Orlando. Will definitely be back again.
