Nothing to write home about, that's for sure. Staff gets frustrated with customers easily. I watched a lot of first time customers come through and they did not treat the customers very nice. The establishment does not have a clear path as to where/what the patron is to do upon entry. They got huffy with me when I asked for help to get a highchair. The highchairs were stuck together by (I am assuming) maple syrup. The highchairs were disgusting. Coffee was fine, eggs and oatmeal were cold, flavor was alright. I was sitting right next to the pick-up station so, they should not have had time to get cold.

11Jan20, FWB Bar Flys, This place has so much potential, but needs new talent. Sandwiches are A+ rating, but anybody can make a sandwich. If you think the high price assures a great sandwich plate, think again. All is a la carte. Soup Is well prepared, seasoning is lite and broth is clear. All good signs of a good soup. Taste is wanting, however if you try the Gumbo you will find so much File' that it is pungent and nasty tasting. Salads are not developed, but have good components. Basically a pile on a plate. Avoid the Duck Confit, it is over cooked and the consistency of Brillo. Duck is difficult to cook, and hold. Not in their wheelhouse. Beignets are elastic in the center due to overworked dough. Bring your good teeth. Service is friendly and happy. If going for a Garden City cafe, chicory coffee and beignets are best when pared together. French Quarter chicory coffee is not offered. We expected more, and see too much to be improved. Very expensive and not competitive.

This is a great Cafe in Niceville, FL on State Hwy 20. It is open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday. On Saturday the hours are shorter and closed on Sunday. It is owned and operated by a very Christian family that is friendly and enjoys what they do. The food is very good and not the usual items. The atmosphere is friendly and conducive to visiting or working if you want to.

Great atmosphere and seating/tables. We had a meeting here. Most of the Staff was not as friendly...didn't great and just not happy. One lady who cleared the tables was sweet.

You'll never see this place from the main roadway, but it's worth the short detour. Serving up homemade...well, everything, this spot is perfect for a great lunch. The mint gelato/ice cream uses actual mint. The sandwiches and other meals are bursting with flavor. It's a shame I didn't visit more when I lived there.

Good food and a great atmosphere, I definitely enjoy this spot. It's great for having a conversation over a latte with a business partner or friends.

Came in for lunch Friday, and the food was outstanding. Had a red fish sandwich on a Po-Boy style french roll and a cup of Red Beans and rice, both of which were outstanding. Throw in the Abita root beer to go along with the meal, look out across the bayou, and you feel like you might as well be sitting in NOLA.

The seafood gumbo had zero flavor whatsoever. It was a brown, bland soup, and not deserving of the title gumbo. Thankfully they had a plethora of hot sauces readily avaliable to make the food edible. The people seem nice, but I will never come back.

Warm pumpkin ginger scone served with yummy cream -- absolutely wonderful! But little kids may not appreciate the bits of real ginger studded throughout -- this is maybe a grownup treat. The gelato or the beignets would make any picky eater happy, though! And, as always, the best iced tea!

This is an amazing local spot with great coffee and great food. The beignets are on point. Super family friendly and local art all over the walls.

When you come in, find a table and look thru the menu. After you decide what you want, go to the counter and order.

You will NOT be disappointed.
