Cafe Bienville

We had a lg. group of ladies who got together for breakfast. The staff was ready, friendly n efficient. The food was hot n delicious. They even had a great selection of coffee's for some of us coffee drinkers.

My friend and I went there for lunch thinking we would have true Cajun style food, I am from New Orleans, the food was ok, but it did not have any spices in it at all. We both got the seafood gumbo & in my bowl there was one tiny little shrimp, in her bowl there were three tiny little shrimp, the pulled pork sandwich I got was so greasy it was running out onto the plate I had to go and get them to replace it. The place had very very few parking spots but apparently the locals like it because it was fairly busy. I expected it to be true Cajun food which is what they advertised but without the spices you cannot have true Cajun food.

This morning we got the meat lovers breakfast bowl and the veggies one. Both were really good. We also tried creole cuban sandwich, i had never had a cuban before but this was delicious. The beignets were bomb. I liked the crunch and texture of the beignets. Before we left i ordered a German chocolate iced coffee. All the flavors settle and not overly sweet

Wish I'd taken a photo of this fresh, home- cookin' food, but I ate it too fast. Delicious. I bought breakfast (which they serve all day, by the way). And the froo-froo coffee for only $4...good! I'll have to go back in a few days and get a photo of my next meal!

Added a star because the coffee was decent. If you want eggs, scrambled is the only way they make them. Asked if I could get them over medium and was given a loud, stern "NO." Toast wasn't toast but cut up pieces of a baguette. Not bad though. If you want more breakfast options besides scrambled eggs or a bowl of oatmeal though, maybe try elsewhere.

I had the beignets which were good. My husband had a breakfast bowel which was good as well. Here's the problem the second time I went in for lunch, the line at the counter had not budged even after we sat at a table deciding what to order. The second and most important problem is the air conditioning was still not working as it was the first time we were there for breakfast, it was tolerable because it was early in the morning. It's the middle of the summer and we left the restaurant to have lunch elsewhere. This needs to be repaired for good. Will not be going back until the fall or unless the owner sees this post and actually get the air going for good!!! On a positive note the coffee was fantastic.

Delicious food and coffee. The staff was a little unwelcoming but other than that I love it here.

I go to this Cafe frequently with a bunch of my lady friends. It's our favorite coffee Spot. The owners are friendly. We love the food. They have a variety of Beverages and coffees that we enjoy. Atmosphere is friendly and cozy!

First time at this place. Rosemary pulled chicken sandwich was delicious. The bread was amazing & I liked that there were no fries or chips that came with it. Sandwich by itself was plenty.

Unique new place in Niceville
I had a breakfast bowl with their homemade bread. The husband had the red beans and rice. It was great. They have home made gelato. We didn't try it. It is an order and you pick it up at the counter.
