The owner was there today, very personable and enjoyable to meet. The food is always top notch, and the staff has always been nice. Even though they ended up short staffed, everyone was comfortable and kind.

We had a terrible experience last night. We had a reservation, but waited 2 hours for our meals. Appetizers were served, but no silverware was available so we waited 30 minutes for the waitress to return with 4 forks and knives for a party of 8. We offered to use plastic silverware , but were told they were out. Several items on the menu were not available and the waitress had to keep returning to let us know our orders needed to be changed. 2 hours later, our entrees arrived. We had to request to go boxes because we were late to our 8pm show. No comp or apology was offered. I’m not sure what has happened at The Rev because I’ve eaten here three times in the past before shows at the Opera House with no issues.

Super long wait due to an event at the Opera House. The staff was STILL friendly, smiling, and accommodating. Our server, Jess, was incredible. She had been there all day, was slammed and still held a wonderful attitude. The management was awesome, food was great, drinks were great. Shrimp and grits was superb, jambalaya amazing, and the venison sliders were delicious. It was a wonderful evening. I would definitely return.

Some amazing good food that is well priced. The menu is smaller than normal but worth it. They have a good range of food options. One amazing thing that blew my wife and I away was that their entire menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free. Even a lot of their fried foods are gluten free. Beer and wine list is decent with good choices for everyone. Specials are usually very tasty and well worth the price. This was our last visit due to us moving but this was our favorite place to go eat. Well worth the 40m drive.

This is a must go to restaurant! This was a dining experience to talk about. The service was beyond expectations for what I thought when we first walked in. Brittany, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable of food coming out of the kitchen, and attentive. The venison burger, called the Blue Boy, (you can pick from venison, bison, beef, pork) was so TENDER! I had the hardest time choosing amongst the amazing food choices on the menu. My husband got the blue boy burger and I got the most delicious shepherds pie I’ve ever had. Thank you for a wonderful meal and the peach cobbler bread pudding was out of this world good!

So very good! We stopped in after visiting a few of the local shops. In our party, we ordered the portabella stack(can’t remember the actual name), Monti burger and the daily special (grits topped with Mahi). We all had tea. The tea was great. Everyone was very pleased with their selections. I even purchased some Satsuma jelly after having some on the burger. 😍 My only regret was not getting a slice of that satsuma cheesecake!! Also worth noting, a member of our party has gluten sensitivity issues and she was pleasantly surprised with the many options available for her at Rev. They also have vegan and vegetarian options. We’ll be back. It was absolutely worth the drive.

Excellent local cafe with fresh beer on tap along with tasty entrees and salads. All reasonably priced with friendly and attentive waitstaff. Definitely worth the miles to find the place!

Omg this place is amazing. My husband and I couldn’t decide what to eat so we ordered two of the yummest items we could find and shared them. I got shrimp and grits and he got the Monti burger. The dishes were amazing! We wish this cafe was in our home town because we would frequent it often.
