Decent fast food fish place. They definitely have outdoor seating - didn't notice if they have indoor seating. Thought it was a bit expensive for a place where you place your order at a window and then have to go and pick it up at another window. I've paid less for better everything. However, the food was good. I had the blackened Mahi-Mahi and my wife got the Hogfish.

The food tastes great 👍🏻 but I found the fresh fish to be overpriced. The staff does a great job on the fried food. My favorite side dish is the coleslaw. The Bloody Mary is worth the picture alone. Only offers outdoor seating but it is all shaded. The background music is relaxing so come prepared to enjoy!

I really appreciate their honesty. Six stone crab claws cost $64 at the cafe window. When we hesitated, the woman told us to go get them at the market. It turned out to be about half the price, and we were allowed to eat them on the cafe deck. I hope I'm not getting her in trouble.

If you're looking for a casual place to have excellent seafood, this is the place. Go. You Won't be disappointed. I recommend the Lobster BLT.

Stopped here on our way home. Best decision ever! It had a nice breeze and cute setup. We ordered the Mahi Cuban Sandwich with blackened fish and the kids shrimp basket. They were amazing! The seasoned fries were even delicious. You could tell the fish and shrimp were recently caught. Grabbed a couple local craft beers to pair with our food and they were great as well. I drank Veza Sur Brewing Company’s Mangolandia which is a mango wheat beer. I’m going to have to find where to buy it when I get home because it is a perfect poolside or beach day beer.

I discovered this establishment by randomly searching on google, when approaching the cafe area it does look industrial which makes since considering it is a seafood market. Once entered it completely changed my mind, the cafe sits right on the water. The views and the typical beautiful keys weather were unbelievable. The food was cooked well and the prices for the area undeniably worth every penny.

This was a great place to get fresh fish and stone crabs! The hogfish is a local fish that is a must get in any form.

Not going to lie, my food today was below average. When spending 30 dollars on a meal, the last thing it should be, is below average. The rice and beans were incredibly bland. I ate here three weeks ago in the evening time, and it was great! Today it was bad. Just bad.

Very fresh seafood right where the boats come in. We went twice!

I’ve lived in the upper keys for 20+ years and the food at the fisheries and backyard cafe is always so tasty and fresh. Today was my birthday & the staff overheard and did something so nice and made my day even more special. I also noticed they had crawfish on the specials menu and they were soooo yummy. I had went back and ordered two more servings after the first one lol loved every bit of it. Thank you backyard cafe! :)
