Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe

The food was good. There's no table service, you order at counter and pick up your order when it's ready. No frills, picnic style outdoor seating. I had the fried grouper basket with fries and was pleased with the amount of fish in the serving. My wife had the lobster roll and thought it was lacking something?

The restaurant is absolutely amazing. The food is great, honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. The lobster BLT is the way to go for sure. Explains all of the awards they’ve won!

It is a beautiful place to have a restaurant with fresh seafood. Watch the pelicans and the fishes as the restaurant employees feed the fish. Variety of choices in the menu and the lobster roll was just amazing. It's a great place to have lunch. Pina colada drink was great as well. A must visit spot if in the key largo area.

Hands down some of the best seafood in the keys! The catch of the day was absolutely delicious. I knew when we first pulled up this place was legit, there was line of people all the way out to the parking lot.

The lines move fast, the staff is extremely professional, the menus are simple to read without confusion, and the call to option with the digital table alert system is flawless.

The views were amazing as well. As we waited for our food we watched a fisherman's captain filet his fresh catch of the day. You can tell me he was a natural as I watch him filet at least 10 big fish in under 10 minutes.

The boats were very interesting as they were from all parts of the world. My favorite was the triple tiered fisherman's boat.

Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe is precisely what the name says. It is a fish and seafood store on one side and a restaurant with a backyard and outdoor seating on the other side. If you are visiting Key Largo, visiting this restaurant is a must. I took my family on a fishing trip, and we charted a boat from the marina. Upon our return, we decided to try an order of the stone crab claws with a bucket of beer. This was the perfect finish to a long day of fishing. Everything on the menu is super fresh, and basically, they serve the catch of the day. Tempted to try different dishes, we got the sword sandwich, the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich, and the stone crab chowder soup. The outdoor seating in the backyard offers excellent water views and a relaxing ambiance.

A wonderful place to stop and eat. The cafe makes great food and the fish market has a great selection of fresh fish to take home to enjoy later. It's totally worth the three hour trip.

Happened to stop here for lunch. What a surprising treat! The food was excellent. Had blackened snapper and it was fantastic. The outside dining atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. There was enjoyable live music. Definitely stop here for great seafood.

Great experience!! Love being able to walk right up, order, pay and seat ourselves right by the dock. Great breeze and shade while we ate our wonderful food. Favorites were the spiny lobster, stone crab, mahi mahi, and shrimp. Delicious!!

We love the ambiance, and the food is delicious, and I don't think you can get it fresher than that. It is from the boat to your plate. We try to go at least twice a month.

After snorkeling, stopped by this amazing seafood restaurant recommended by a local tour guide. Outdoor dinning area to enjoy freshly cooked seafood. Lots of varieties to choose from. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staffs, fresh seafood… amazing.. highly recommended
