Bold Bean Coffee Roasters - Jax Beach

Absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! Definitely my favorite spot. Their coffee really stands out from the rest. Bold, just as the name states, but it's so smooth at the same time. They know what they're doing. I recommend the Spicy Chocolate latte. It's delicious!

Never been to this Bold Bean location, but really enjoyed the experience. I got a Cortado and a cheese danish, and the coffee and pastry was on point. The espresso was delicious and I would highly recommend a visit.

I ordered food and coffee. The food came out immediately, but I waited forever for the coffees. I decided to ask to the cashier since I were waiting in front of the bassists and nonone ever looked at me and somehow someone lost the order.
I know mirmstakes happen, but if someone payed attention they would notice a customer was standing in front of them for long enough to ring a bell.

The downside is there’s not enough seating at the Jax beach location but the upside is everything else.
If you didn’t know, Bold Bean was founded by 2 brothers, one who studied how to make coffee in South America and the other who went to study how to become a baker in Oregon. What has come of this duo is 3 wonderful locations in Jacksonville with some of the most welcoming staff.
All of the pastries are hand-baked every day - I often see people come in right before they close just to grab leftover muffins. This is because all food is donated to the homeless association of Jacksonville at the end of the day.

As someone based in Europe visiting Jacksonville for a couple weeks, this was the first place I've found that really hit the spot for me coffee-wise. Nice espresso-based selection, as well as some interesting sounding tea and chai drinks. Their pastries looked good too, but haven't tried them yet. There's a nice seating area outside. I'm definitely planning to return!

I wasn't all that impressed with the taste of their coffee. The service was top notch. I also bought a bag of their roasted coffee beans. Overall, the coffee beans have a great taste and aroma but aren't anything near the dark roast I was expecting. I will return and try more of their other drinks.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Staff is excellent and coffee is always amazing! This is my spot when I need to get into some focused projects. Great to come here and then go finish the day out on the beach to watch the sunset.

I tried a coffee flight, but it only took one of them to garner a five star rating: the curry latte. Asked the barista for something unique and that’s what he recommended. While it may sound off-putting a first, it was delightful. Warm and cozy, like a spiced coffee for those who don’t particularly love pumpkin spice. The espresso shot was good, the cold brew seemed a bit bland, maybe it was simply because it was enjoying it with two other bold flavors. Even so, I do think their cold brew is much lighter others I’ve had. Regardless, bold bean is a great choice for those looking to shop local and break out of the average coffee chain.

Definitely order a pour over here. It's prepared with their chemex process for a 20oz. If they have the brownie drop cookie order one for yourself or a gift to a special someone. If you order an iced/hot tea to be served inside you are able to have two more steeps. They also serve beer on drafts here.

Nice staff, which is the reason for any stars at all. Unfortunately, they forgot about my drink, so we were waiting for 25+ minutes. It would have been appreciated to be compensated for such a long wait, but they didn't act on it.

Forewarning, they don't make London Fogs correctly, so after a long wait, we didn't even receive the right drink. They brew Earl Grey Lavender tea, but don't add any vanilla or sweetener, so I had to go back an ask for both.
