I ordered delivery - ordered veggie nachos and they did not put the veggie beef on it, and the chicken tenders were overfried, dry and dark. I can’t believe they sent it like this.

My daughter moved to Gainesville in May and someone recommended we try The Top for dinner. I feel fortunate that we received this recommendation. A great restaurant always starts at "The Top" (sorry) but it's true. The place is managed by a natural leader, Callie, who made us feel warmly welcomed. Her leadership rubs off- Juan was our first server and was excellent and he has a great story. To have a great restaurant,, the food has to deliver and it does. We are from the midwest so I was reluctant to try the pepper steak. Turns out, it is one of the best steaks I have every had and I have had it twice. Also, the sauce they serve with it is fantastic. We also had the seared tuna appetizer and it was a knockout. Lastly, the vibe is fun and lively. If there is ever a 5 Star review that is deserved, The Top is it.

Perfect burgers and the red Malbec wine was amazing, the only down part is that the music is really loud, Inside and outside

By far the best restaurant in Gainesville. If you go, be expected to wait a decent amount of time for a table, but it is well worth it. Service is great and the food is even more amazing. Make sure to get the PB pie for dessert!!

Unfortunately came in and ended up having borrowing used silverware and half a glass of water from another party at my table as after asking 3 servers for water and waiting 23 minutes our server Christina wasn't able to service our table. Very unfortunate. One server just dismissed me all together the other was kind and advised Christina again.

We went to the Top with family members who came from Texas for a visit. My sister in law had her name on the waiting list and we sat on the bar to have a drink until we get the text that our table is ready, once we got the text we headed to the reception and the guy there asked my sister in law (Are you Ralph?) !!! That felt bad as obviously she doesn't look like a male named Ralph! Anyways, we ordered food, mine was widow maker burger. It was so dry and I had to ask for different sauces just to make it less dry. The fries in my wife's order were so oily and we couldn't eat them. I felt sick the next day and I had to vomit 3 times as I couldn't digest my food. We were a little bit disappointed as we used to love this place

Server never came back to check on our table unless we saw him pass and gestured that we needed something. Food wasn't the same as in the past.

Fantastic place for more premium, classic American entrees. This place is great for a bite to eat with friends and family. The grilled cheese sandwiches are something great that you have to check out for yourself. I'd definitely recommend trying their buffalo chicken sandwich. I had it and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time.Expect moderate wait time when it's busy and not the cheapest prices, but other than that, this place is worth a try.

Excellent food, cocktail, service, and atmosphere. My mushroom ravioli (daily special) was phenomenal. My daughter enjoyed the tempeh Buffalo sandwich and appreciated the variety of vegan options, which were labeled on the menu. The Florida negroni cocktail was excellent and strong. The mid-century decor and lighting collection is a cool vibe.
