Dolce Vita Bakery Cafe

La Dolce Vita is an absolute gem! Gainesville is so lucky to have this great bakery and café. I love grabbing breakfast on my way to the farmer's market during the weekend, or ordering a nice cake or pie for a special occasion. I recently placed a large order with Rose for an office event, and she knocked everything out of the park. Highly recommend -- you won't be disappointed!

Dolce Vita made the pies for my daughter's wedding reception and they were awesome. Not only were they delicious but they were beautiful and delivered before the time deadline. Thank you Dolce Vita Bakery Cafe for a wonderful, stress free experience

Okay, so the reviews about customer service aren't exactly wrong. I've never asked, but I get north eastern states curtness vibes.

But the pastries are so good I don't even care. Delicious goodness every time and a local family run business.

Pastries are always made fresh and Rosie is always available for any special occasion orders

I come here often with my coworkers for lunch. They make great sandwiches and their pastries, cakes, and cookies are always delicious. I definitely recommend this bakery, if you're looking for a treat to celebrate a special day. The two ladies who run this bakery are very friendly as well.

Food is good, but honest suggestion try to have more friendly workers because both ladies that work there are very grumpy, making faces and are not helpful at all.
I would come more often it stuff was more friendly.

I've known this man a long time back when he used to have his little hot dog cart this man knows how to cook and bake pastries are phenomenal I had andan esclair this morning with my father he had never been so I took him down there and he was very very happy with the esclair he had so glad to see the bakery made it through covid

I had high expectations and the line was out the door when I showed up one Sat morning around 11am in early Jan. The menu was hard to read from far away and everyone was trying to social distance, so we didn't know what we wanted until we were right at the counter. We probably ordered 6 to 8 different types of treats (making sure to get a few of each) and I could tell that the woman behind the counter was getting impatient. We definitely left with a negative vibe. While the food and treats were satisfactory, the customer service was enough to turn us away and try and find another place.
