Great breakfast. Then we took to go box lunches and deserts.
Wish I lived next door to this place.

I'm from Indiana and was very impressed by the service, our waitress diko did an absolutely great job. Checked on us, very friendly. I felt very welcome and I'm wanting to go back one more time before heading back home. Thank you again so much diko for your friendly help and service 😊

Love this place for Saturday morning breakfast! The bacon egg and cheese on croissant is delicious and the bacon is extra crispy!!

Our server, Hailey, was extremely nice, friendly, and attentive. The food was good, not amazing nor out of this world, but definitely fresh. The flavor on the potatoes was bland, the pastries were ok, I was expecting to see more European items on the menu, such as crepes. I don’t eat red meats/pork, which limited my options as everything has bacon, but I would definitely come back for the bakery items.

Fantastic place for great breakfast and baked goods. Had the bagel and lox sandwich, delicious. Service was also top notch. Will return for sure. Good job.

Good menu with interesting but delicious items for lunch. Great Coffee! But some bakery items to snack on or bring home. Very attentive servers. Easy parking. A little noisy if crowded. Clean restrooms. Very fresh bead, of course!

European American Bakery Cafe, Metro Parkway, Ft. Myers,FL., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
My choice was pick a pair. I picked french onion soup and a french dip sandwich. I was a big DIP in picking this eatery.
WOW what a disappointment. Lets start small the pickle. It was barely a pickle and more just a cucumber dipped in a brine. yyeecch.
The soup . A big blob of cheese, a large slice of bread at the bottom, lots of onions, and so salty I could have used it for a salt lick.
The french dip sandwich. It was my mistake, I did not read how they bastardize the sandwich. But after reading the supposing ingredient it was still WRONG.
I took the sandwich home. It was on a 2.5 inch bun. Yes I measured item. There was a bit of lettuce, bit of onions, bit of bell peppers, a slim slice of tomato. barely any slice beef.
This so called sandwich was 6 bucks, soup $5.20, 12 bucks for both.
Then 3 dollars for coffee, in a small cup so you need to keep asking for a refills. PLUS diet sweetener, brown sugar, AND a attitude when I ask for real white sugar.

I've lived in the Ft Myers for 17 years and never knew of this place until recently. Once I found out, I was so excited to try it. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The prices for "pick 2" were a little high and the portions were smaller that expected. My boyfriend's half sandwich was very small and it was about $8.00. He enjoyed the french onion soup. I had the turkey pot pie and that was good. The eclair was disappointing for $6.00 and it actually tasted stale and didn't have much Bavarian cream inside. The service was ok but had to keep waving a waitress over because they didn't come over much and we didn't have a designated waitress.
