Undergrounds Coffeehaus is not some artisanal, uppity, chic coffee place, and they're not trying to be. They're a wonderful, laid back, relaxed place, that's meant to be exactly that. They don't offer overpriced picky foods/coffee, they have tons of great snacks, a large variety of coffee to order from, tons of books everywhere for you to choose from, board games, a lovely outdoor area with more places to sit and relax, and most of all they have the sweetest people working there. Eileen (sorry if I spelled that wrong) is constantly talking to the youth around here, trying to get them involved more with their music, artwork, whatever. She's always organizing music shows and mini art fairs from what ive seen, and generally just a ton of events for people to come to and enjoy. To all the people rating this place low because it doesn't fit your pedantic standards, you're wrong man, sorry. This place is great for kids, teens, adults whoever. I am constantly meeting new people there and have never had a bad encounter. If they mess up your order somehow (which rarely happens) they will do everything to make it up to you asap. Lovely low key place in fort lauderdale, it honestly just feels like another home.

I wanted something a bit off beat but this place did not satisfy. I am an adult professional,..if you are too, don't go here. The vibe is good for much younger people who seem to not have 'found themselves', yet. Really, the coffee drinks were not good. We ordered a carmel latte and a coffee with steamed milk.. both were coldish and not appealing. The server seemed touchy and seemed easily frustrated by multitasking. Very kitshy and only semi-cool.

BEST COFFEE IN TOWN! Love this hidden Bohemian style coffee haus! No where else could you find a banana split or peanut butter and jelly latte! And they are AWESOME! Always has an event going on. And don't let the name fool you. You get a great balcony view!

Unclean And Unwelcoming Atmosphere!!!
Me and a friend went there today and it was an awful experience for us both.
The employee got upset over us asking a simple question and the employee did not seem happy with his job at all.
It took over 28 minutes just for a single serving of tater tots to be served.
This was my second time coming here I didn't write a review then because I assumed they were having a bad day but boy was I wrong everything is the same if not worse!!!
PLEASE DON'T WAST YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS STRANGE DUMP!!!

This is an interesting place to say the least. The interior looks like some old apartment with a Bar stand where you can order coffee beverages from. If you are not squeamish about ordering your coffee from a not so sanitary place, this is a cool place to hang for what seems like an interesting crowd of teenagers and other questionable persons. P.s. the coffee is ungodly sweet, almost like drinking a syrup from pumps loaded with several table spoons of sugar.

coffee house is very alive place, lots of books and couchs to enjoy favorite beverage... not lots of options to eat.
Went for stand up comedy, in some small backroom with low roof... although its upstairs, is very underground albeit not gothic/dark!
Host is not the best entertainer but headliner's are ok, remember to get a drink before it starts - there are no breaks or servers.

Very open, friendly, and fun to hang out at! I've been coming here for 5 years now and it's always great. Bring a board game, friends, and you got yourself a great time!

I hate this place. Firstly, you have to go up these shady stairs to enter a cluttery and dirty mess they call a coffeehouse. But I gave it a chance cause it had decent reviews. That was my mistake. I ordered a hot chocolate and loaded tater tots to find that they had a 10 dollar minimum...my order came out to be around 9.50ish and they wouldn't let it slide so I ordered some more tater tots. Then I waited 10 minutes for a COLD nesquik chocolate milk with cold hard whip cream... the I waited another 30 effing minutes for my tater tots that were also cold! The staff was very rude. The website said that I no longer had to pay over over priced coffee/drink at starbucks anymore! I rather pay starbucks, what? A dollar more? Since I know they're cleaner and have better customer service than this place will ever have.
Don't waste your time or money here.

Very chill laid back vibe. Coffee is good but I enjoy kicking back one of the old couches and reading one of the numerous old book, btw they are for sale along with various forms of art from local artists. Not enough places like this in the area.

Very relaxing place to chill and have a great hot drink. Feels like home when I first walked in.
