Undergrounds Coffeehaus

Has wonderful seating (an abundance of soft couches) and a good atmosphere to hang out with friends, play board games, and cuddle.
They have their own chess set and Cards Against Humanity set for free use, and also a variety of used books to browse through or purchase, with most books at _good_ prices! (I think I've gotten three books there!)

Some people are bothered by the credit card minimum limit, but I'm not since I only use cash. Occasionally, the serving can be slow: depends on the person on duty.
Their website's currently down since their domain expired, though. They should fix that. That's the main reason this review is four rather than five stars. (I'm a sysadmin and could help with that for free, though, since I like the place so much)

All in all, a really good place, my favorite cafe of all time so far! :D

A go to place for anyone looking for good coffee and a great ambient. It feels very cozy and has a setting where you can relax quite easily. The coffee and tea choices offered are amazing, my favorite being the grasshopper and it never disappoints. The tater tots also make a great, silly pair to the coffee but it makes sense with the place to serve tater tots and there’s no denying that they are amazing. All in all fully recommend for a great place to sit and talk and relax as well as even study.

This little hidden gem is amazing! Headed there late Saturday night for a game of scrabble and some coffee. I had the Almond Joy Latte, delicious!! As far as the ambience it is very laid back and chill, plenty of books everywhere, board games, and cool people! I do suggest you bring your own board game if that’s your thing since some of them may have missing pieces.

I received a room temp latte that was less of a latte and more of just espresso with milk. I was upset, but open to a new experience. The place makes a good hang out for a chat or board game, but their coffee game was very, very off that day. I would have appreciated the atmosphere more if I was 14-16 years old again. It has a cool vibe... if and only if you can dig it. I would not go back, but you may like it. I am open to different things, but this place was just messy and the coffee was not even hot. The staff was not very welcoming either. Plus side: they had almond milk and I can appreciate that.

I love this place so much! I just went for the first time today and I will 100% be going back. The place is amazing, there are all sorts of books for sale and the coffee was so good! The vibes are unmatched, I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything else.

This place is the coolest EVER! The tater tots are soooo good and they have unique and delicious coffee flavors. Not to mention the local art for sale around the entire place. Staff are the coolest people you'd ever hope to meet. seriously come here you will not regret it

I went to see a comedy show at this location. The comedy show was good. I think the concept of the place is good with the different couches and books around. I love the idea of it. But the drinks and cookies we ate weren't that good at all. It took forever to get served I felt bad for the girl because she was taking orders and trying to fulfill them as well. The one hit was the tatertots. But be ready to wait 30 minutes or more for them.

One of the coolest and most interesting places around. The owner, Aileen, is very nice and really takes the time to know her patrons. All the staff I've met has been beyond nice and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. When you walk in it feels as if you're home. The coffee and eats hit the spot everytime. A punk,emo,goth coffee house gets my vote...boardgames and movies w/ snackbar...good to do projects or schoolwork..hangout,dancing or bands on select nights

My first visit here was very enjoyable, the cashier was very friendly and talkative, the drinks were good, and I loved the atmosphere.

Second visit (tonight, 1/24) I was greeted upon walking in and ordered a chai. The cashier was counting his drawer and asked his coworker Myranda to make my drink. She was visibly disgruntled that her tarot-card reading was interrupted, but got up and went to make my drink and then rudely suggested I tip my cashier. As someone who worked for tips for 7+ years and always tips above and beyond when I can, I was taken off guard by her passive-aggressiveness. The chai tea latte she made was passable, but could’ve been so much better if she cared about the quality of her service.

I felt like a burden and like my character was insulted. I understand maybe she was having a bad day but it has really made the entire night unpleasant and is not fitting for a job in customer service.
