I would not give this place 1 star. Ordered a medium hamburger, came out medium rare to rare. Could not eat it. It tasted awful. Asked the waiter James several times if he could remedy the situation. He took half the sandwich back said he couldn't take the half I bit into. They seared it on the edge only, still cold and pink in middle. Cold overcooked fries, old oil, $31.00 dollars for two meals and couldn't eat one of them. Very disappointing. Won't go back.

Hannah the Barista is hands down one of the best cafe employees ive met in my life. Always working hard and doing everything in her ability to provide the best service to the customers. Never had a drink that didn’t shatter my expectations. Thanks for everything Hannah

Found Hi Tulip Cafe while on vacation. I wanted a latte and asked our waitress Stephanie if the Almond Milk was sweetened or unsweetened as I have health issues exacerbated by sugar and milk is an allergy for me. Stephanie said it was “neither”, and seemed to be irritated by my question. After pressing she said she could check and came back to say it was unsweetened. I then asked about the Plant Based Sausage if it had Soy and she quickly said NO. Soy is a major allergy for me. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with the Plant Based Sausage and consumed it. I enjoyed the flavor of the sausage and asked what brand it was with the intent to purchase it at the store in the plaza. Stephanie gave me the name but I could not find it at the store. In the evening I researched the brand and found that it is loaded with Soy. I then thought about how delicious the latte was and wondered if the Almond Milk was in fact sweetened because it tasted so good. I’m so shocked by the lack of concern for one’s health. These are allergies with repercussions to my health condition and not dietary preferences. I sent three emails to the restaurant with no reply. We visited on a Sunday and today is Thursday, so sufficient time was given. Not a good experience, nor a good waitress.

As a repeat customer, my family was disappointed at the extremely slow delivery of the ordered breakfasts. 45 minute wait for a party of four for the one egg and toast breakfast was an unwelcome delay. The server was pleasant but did not keep us informed. Plenty of water and coffee refills were avaliable. Overall, a disappointing breakfast experience.

Great food. It was very very busy when we got there. Kind of tight inside, but this place is worth it.

I'm so happy to try this place. The food was great but don't expect Southern biscuits. That's the only thing I didn't care for. The staff and wait time were great and my breakfast was great. It's got a very California style to the menu. Healthy and good.

Great little place for a brunch. I find that during the week is less busy than a weekend or after Church on Sundays where you will be waiting a good while before getting a seat or meal if eating with more than one person. It's a quaint little place with a nice fresh atmosphere. I feel the menu is appropriate however I do question some of their more complex choices such as a Mediterranean salad served with traditional Greek tzataiki, feta cheese and hummus yet lacks an appropriate dressing to accommodate such salad. Were the rare and special Greek Salad served occasionally lacks the traditional tzataiki or Greek olives but comes with a Greek vinaigrette dressing. I find that these salads are a bit misplaced. Keeping in mind that these are a course the highlighted items that I'm going to review being that it's part of what I favorite most on a menu. I believe the breakfast items are probably what is preferred when dining here. And I can see this noted by the quality of the breakfast items. I would also have to mention that the many fun coffees and teas would be a highlight and reasoning to return. I do question other dishes that I fill that are odd in mix for an example “Smoked Salmon Hashbrown” doesn’t appeal to be appetizing, and not one I am dying to try. I am sure if there are some fans willing to give it a go, they might be able to make it a favorite to some. In fairness my recommendation would be to re-examine the odd combination of food choices and limit the menu two breakfast/brunch style items along with their great choices of coffees and teas. I believe with the right adjustment Hi Tulip Cafe will be a local favorite long term. Over all Hi Tulip Cafe does earn 5 stars.

I’ve only had breakfast at Hi Tulip but every time the food has been delicious and is reasonably priced. Staff is super friendly and fast. This restaurant is definitely a reason to cross the bridge.

Wow, what a nice place to eat. Good food, excellent service, super clean. I had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious and plentiful. Can't wait to go back.

The eggs Benedict was outstanding. The table across from ordered pancakes and they were the size of an old Buick hubcap
Paul gave us great service.
