Coffee is lighter, fruitier end if the roast. Maybe a little more tart than what you get at Takoma Beverage. Great for Americanos! I love that this place has little snacks and a socially distanced set of tables outside. You gotta try the empanadas and the pan de yuca (hint - it's cheese bread...imagine a cheese mochi). The plants, the people, the food...all give this spot a perfect calming and welcoming neighborhood vibe. Pro tip: if you order online for window pickup -- just pop up to the window and let them know.

Beautiful little coffee shop with Fair Trade coffee from Colombia. Plants for sale as well, a great addition as well. Their extra friendly staff makes it a great way to start your day!

Another cafe that’s aesthetically good but not the coffee

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. This place made me like coffee. It is by far the best place in the city - complete hidden gem.

Nice looking shop, and great coffee. Everyone has masks and seemed to be following guidelines well.

On the other hand, at least when I was there, the front facing staff seem to be all men. Please also be advised that the entrance to the shop is *NOT* accessible, which is unfortunate. Hopefully that will be fixed quickly.

Amazing coffee and amazing empanadas. Honestly the best I’ve ever had. This is a high quality coffee place so anyone who knows good coffee and doesn’t think chain brands of coffee is the best then this is definitely the place for you!

So happy to have this new addition to the area! I’ve been fond of Lost Sock since having their brews at Creative Mornings and the gorgeous space with friends staff and delicious drinks does not disappoint. Great collection of plants for sale and stylish merch to boot. The food menu is small but mighty and the pan de yuca is not to be missed!

Just had the worst experience at this place. Usually very good customer service but today I was treated with such disrespect. Mgr was so condescending. Bad part is the coffee is good but nothing is good when people don’t treat you kindly. Will not be going back!!!

Great coffee and cute little plant shop inside! Bummed that it's not wheelchair accessible, hope that changes soon. A table or two outside would be great as well, not really anywhere to sit on the block.
