Atmosphere: Very calm, cozy and rustic. Made me feel like I was at home at my dinner table having a warm cup of coffee before heading out the door.

Appearance of coffee: Love the dish it came in. Very pretty presentation and the workers make sure the cup is filled to the top!

Taste: I got the hot mocha coffee. It had hints of something more than mocha, and the foaming top was more caramelized/browner than I’m use to( but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. It added to the flavor of the coffee.)

Temptation: I may have eyeballed the monkey bread along with the ham and cheese croissant at least 10 times. Next time maybe!

Price: A little over $5. I thought it was a bit pricey for a cup of coffee, but you are in DuPont/DC. When you take everything into consideration, I felt like it was worth it.

Would I recommend?: Yes! It’s literally next door to Starbucks and I almost, out of instinct, went to Starbucks, but told myself to try something different!

Also, I still want to try the gelato!

The berries and marscapone gelato makes me wish I lived in DC. Such a cute little shop, and the staff were so nice when I was deciding on flavors. Would recommend!

The gelato was AMAZING- the best I’ve had anywhere. So tasty, smooth, and a terrific span of flavors. The dark chocolate was rich. Loved the Dulce de Leche- my new fave. We enjoyed the service with a smile, the charming atmosphere, and my wife’s cappuccino was really good, too. We’ll be back. :)

Visited during late evening and the shop is busy. I guess this one is famous, just like the one in Chinatown. Love their hazelnut

The best gelato I've had in DC! my husband and I stopped here for dessert on a Friday evening and oh my gosh, this place is awesome! I mixed a scoop of sweet potato/pecan with thai vanilla and just yum...it was so good. My husband ordered the dark chocolate mixed with coffee/cookies and that was delicious as well. You can't go wrong with this place....best gelato and nicest people. Just be ready to wait a second because others know about this place too, but the line is fast and the gelato is worth the small wait. Thanks!!

Ice-creams were so fresh and so creamy! Loved all of their flavors, especially the coconut dulce de leche is a must try! I have one suggestion for them though- please upgrade the size of your dishes. Right now you serve small (2 flavs) and large (3 flavs) in same sized cup, which makes the large one difficult to maneuver.

I love the fact that I could have the small one with two flavors. Got the dark chocolate and black sesame - sooooooo good. Can’t wait to go back abc try other flavors.

Some of the best gelato that I've had with such unique flavors. But I went back three days in a row for their pistachio flavor it was that good. Coffee was also good though I always get a red eye.

Great Dolce de Leche latte, and one of the few coffee shops in the area with available indoor seating during Covid! The aesthetic was pleasing and they also have ice creams :)

This is my 2nd favorite coffee place in the world, VERY hard to beat the quality here. I enjoy walking here after church for a sunday afternoon espresso.
