Dolcezza Gelato and Coffee

The gelato is decent. It’s hard to tell honestly because the customer service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I’ve gone several times (regretfully now) thinking the aloof and vaguely miserable gelato attendants were mistakenly scheduled for the same shift. Nope! You’re bound to bother them anytime you visit.

The gelato tasted great but the portions are tiny and I would not recommend the place if you're looking for anything substantially filling. The place was also incredibly hot inside on a day that wasn't even that hot outside. The heat meant we couldn't eat inside and we also couldn't eat on the bench outside the store since a man was lying down on it and the store operators hadn't asked him to leave. Lastly the customer service wasn't that great and the person preparing the gelatos barked at us asking if we wanted coffee or gelato even before we had made it to the counter.

The lattes here are really good, the staff is really skilled in making lattes - specifically at this branch of Dolcezza (and I can say that for sure as I've been to their other locations too). Would highly recommend their vanilla latte!

I never write reviews but Dolcezza was worth taking the time to tell y’all how amazing it is. I stayed in D.C. for a week and fell upon this coffee shop went I needed a caffeine boost. I got my go to, the vanilla iced latte, expecting it to taste like Starbucks or just a little better. It was out of this world. I don’t know exactly how to describe it and I wish I could. It was really sweet and just superior to any other iced latte I ever had. I continued to go everyday once I found it. Unfortunately, I don’t live in DC so all I do is mourn over Dolcezza now. In conclusion, it’s worth every penny.

Richest chocolate gelato I have had since visiting Italy. Brought me back. Very nice place.

The staff where very unclear about their covid policy and where not very helpful at all almost rude. The ice cream was good as it should be at the high price you have to pay. Unfortunately for a place that only serves ice cream and coffee they did not have any drip coffee available.

One of my favorite places. I have tried the latte and the Gelato, both are great quality. The service is great too. Good internet connection. If you are not sure what flavor of Gelato you want, ask for a taste, but you will enjoy any of them.

This brand Dolcezza is glorious! Dolcezza earned it because of their creativity, outstanding customer service, and lab experiment works on best drinks and creative ice creams. I loved their creative drink - warm apple cider with espresso shot. Taste was perfect. I know that its not for everyone but I loved it.

The gelato and coffee shop is amazing with a unique variety of flavors especially the coffee jelly which I ordered is actually good, I swear. The gelato here seems to taste more healthy than normal gelato, really cool flavors. The staff is very helpful, and offers free samples so you can taste before you buy. They also offer non dairy and sugar free options and we will continue to come here. Next time I will request something different.
