Fantastic spot to visit when in DC. Coffee is amazing and the vegan and gluten free cakes are amazing. Customer service is on point and I love how they have the whole family involved. I wish I lived close by to visit more often. Art shows and classes are a must once this pandemic ends. Great community, black owned and family run coffee shop🤗

Good coffee and pastry. Loved the exhibit they had around letters to our bodies - very powerful. The kind of coffee shop I'd want to hang out at regularly if I lived here.

I love the Creative Grounds. It’s a neighborhood spot type of vibe that has great coffee & delicious locally sourced food. The owner is a true art lover who gives back to the community. I’ve also rented the coffee shop to host events.

**INCREDIBLE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR KIDS!!** We held our daughter's third birthday party at Creative Ground. It was a total hit! The kids loved the art projects (we did two projects!), the parents loved watching the kids love the art, coordinating the party was a breeze, and there is no clean up:-).

The owner, Asmara, set up table cloths, plates, napkins, all included! And, she and the art teacher, Ms Sydney, kept three year olds following directions for the art project for AN HOUR! The price could not be beat.

We are so lucky to have this gem of an art studio and coffee shop in our neighborhood.

Very nice space but our pour over was very weak and oak milk latte not very strong either. Hoping they make stronger coffee drinks in the future so we can come back!

The baristas are so nice! They always have such a good attitude and make excellent coffee. Their drink selection is creative and unique.

Excellent coffee and fun space!! I was very glad they do half caf. Their tea selection is great too. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Fantastic neighborhood spot and very COVID-safe. Owner/staff are currently operating from an outdoor ordering window so you can get great coffee or baked goods without stepping inside. Team members are wearing masks and gloves as well for extra safety. Highly recommend this spot!
