Superb coffee from fancy roasting machines and drip coffee machines. The taste proves their method.!! For the non-coffee drinker, there are craft lemonades and teas. If you like flavor added, the house =-made caramel is the best! Great covered patio that is dog-friendly.... cause the owner/staff are super-friendly!!!

Peregrine Coffee was an unexpected gem of an experience. My friends and I had been visiting several cities and towns in Colorado on our first trip there, and randomly stopped here on our way to visit Westcliffe. It is hands down our favorite coffee shop we visited throughout Colorado! Steven and Suzanne (hope I remembered names correctly) created a genuine, down to earth environment. It is sweet to see the dynamic of their marriage and ownership and process within the shop. I admire that they care not only about the quality within your cup, but also sewing proceeds of their profit into a much larger scope of compassion and connection. I drank the best mocha of my LIFE (their blood orange), and I have had many a mocha from all over. I can't wait to purchase beans online from them! I absolutely recommend if you love quality people and quality crafted coffee!

Westcliffe is a great little town, but not the place you would expect to find the best espresso I've ever had in Colorado and some of the best I've had anywhere in Europe or the US. The staff at Peregrine are so clearly coffee people and take great pride and care in every part of the process. I order my beans from them exclusively these days and can't wait until the next time I visit the shop.

Best coffee anywhere. We always go in while we are in Westcliffe and I order their coffee for my office in Dallas and home when we are not there.

One of the best coffee shops you will ever find. Stephen and his team are truly passionate about bringing their customers the best coffee experience possible. Even better they do it with integrity and a friendly smile!

I got a friendly message from the owner via social media and thought, "Sure, I'll give this a try." I'm glad I did. I got 4 bags for $50, which is a steal for specialty coffee. I've tried 2 of the 4 so far (all of which were freshly roasted within the last week), and they've both been unique and delicious. Would recommend!

Peregrine is truly an exceptional cafè experience with incredible coffee. I lived in Italy for 3 years and Peregrine foremost serves some of the best espressos and macchiatos I’ve had, as well as exceptional service, easy conversation and an artisan atmosphere which reminds me of my time in small mountain towns in the Northern Italian Alps. In fact, Steven has handcrafted most, if not all, of wood furnishings inside his cafè with great style. They even took the time to show me their roasting operation next door and the whiskey barrels they use for their exceptional and uniquely curated Whiskey coffee beans…It is truly a must-try and speaks to the top-shelf craftsmanship to which the Peregrine team possesses. Such an exceptional locale that I’ve now gone out of my way on trips through the mountains multiple times to stop at Peregrine. I felt compelled to write this first review of mine, because the 1-star reviews are confounding, unless its small town competition politics. Unlike some other quality coffee shops I’ve been to elsewhere in the States, there is no hint of hipster elitism with the Peregrine team whatsoever, but if you want millkshakes masquerading as coffee than maybe try another place. Bravo Peregrine!

Excellent experience. There was a miscommunication about my drink order, and whenever Steven found out he went the extra mile to get me what I wanted. Great vibe and delicious product. Lavender latte was delightful! Will be back. Thanks Steven!

As always, our last visit to Peregrine (on my wife’s birthday) was marked by a dear, personal exchange with the two baristas behind the bar. We found points of connection, warmth and welcome, expertise in their craft, and another step taken in becoming something more than doing business. We love Peregrine!

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. Great people working here that have genuine conversations with you, and want to get to know you! They home-make many of the ingredients in their unique and delicious drinks! Cozy indoor seating, fun outdoor seating as well. Highly recommended.
