Was denied service with a service dog. I was with my wife and 5yr old son. Most people and restaurants don't know the law. Pretty much discrimination. In this day and age you just don't know what her reasons as to why we couldn't stay and eat she refused to see the law on the phone, was it because we are Latino who's know. I will never go back.

Yep, won’t make this mistake again. Service was slow. Had some customers kid run through the back of the bar then headed towards the kitchen. Random customers yell that the food is so great, etc.

The whole situation was awful.

What a fantastic restaurant this is!! All the food is homemade and served in a delightful "bronco" themed setting. The green chile is definitely from someone's grandma's recipe and is flavorful without unnecessary burning of your mouth. We will definitely stop in here again as we pass through Walsenburg! Good job!!

Read all the bad reviews first...then decide your risk tolerance... or benevolence for me it's a time machine worth a cup of coffee...others love the food .me and Grandma not really hitting it off so sorry she can't retire at that age!

Nice little spot for a bite to eat. The bathroom needs some work but it's mostly functional. My breakfast was delicious and filling.

Sorry, but I cannot recommend this place. I went in one morning and ordered bacon n eggs with pancakes. I received bacon that had been precooked and heated up in the microwave, eggs fried in old grease, and pancakes that had also been pre-made and reheated. Cold syrup, old butter. My dog wouldn't even eat any of it. Too bad; this is a fabulous location for a hoppin' place to eat if someone with a desire to operate it correctly had it. Walsenburg can always use another (good) place to eat.

Great relaxed place for morning coffee klatch. Phyllis' coffee has all the high octane caffeine one needs to get a workday off to a great start. Family run place, very community oriented and giving... For example, they collect clothing to hand out to those in need as well, which is very generous, and host a community Thanksgiving dinner each year.

Stopped in on our way back to Texas. Between the 4 of us, we had pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, alpine omelet, & huevos rancheros. Everything was wonderful. Loved the nostalgic feel to the cafe, reminded me of my childhood.

This food was gross and it took forever to come out. The corn dog tasted like it was nuked in a microwave and was not edible at all. I normally don't write negative reviews but this was bad. Go to Carl's Jr up the street.
