Great sandwich shop! They have gluten free bread! The menu was extensive and the service was super friendly. This place is really close to the river so you can grab a sandwich and eat it at the river.

Although slightly difficult to locate from where we came in, and mobile service was no help in this location, I had to ask a couple people before we found it.. and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! I heard about this place on some random biker chat, and basically MADE it one of my stops while riding through the mountains.... there was soooooo much to choose from, the menu is a bit flamboyant but once you decipher that, the food was absolutely worth the stop, and the people were just a joy!! Big props to this place!!!

We've visited everytime we are in town because all of the sandwiches are amazing. Also the baked goods are to die for! The bread is fresh and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Don't like new set up. Much friendlier more relaxed in old place. I tried to get a half of a captains sandwich on baguette- always available before- now not available. Streamlining often leads to decline in good service and customer satisfaction. Sorry to say. I like the owners .

Awesome sandwich shop with a small town vibe. The staff were crazy busy but got our food out in a timely manner and it was great! I got the Rueben sandwich which had some unique elements, it was delicious. My friend got a veggie wrap and it was HUGE! Lots of folks eat here. Be sure to check this place out.

This place was fantastic. I had the Last Crusade Sandwich. Really good food. The bread was toasted to perfection and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I will say that while delicious, beware of the bread. It's so good but crunchy around the edges and will make the roof of your mouth feel like you ate 3 bowls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. If I ever find myself back in these parts of Colorado, we will be back!

This was the perfect stop for lunch while wandering downtown Salida and the river.

It was very busy at 2:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The menu is extensive and I had the Michael Jordan, ribeye, white American cheese, caramelized onion on sourdough bread. I enjoyed it. The sourdough is great. My husband had a Reuben and while it was good, it wasn't the best he had ever had. However, the coconut macaroon was a knockout, sweet, soft and delectable.

Everything tastes fresh, the bread is delicious, and the portion sizes are huge.

I can't rave enough about the food and the service. We will be returning from Kansas to enjoy this place again! You MUST try the brownies, an excellent compliment to the awesome sandwiches!
