LOVE IT! If you have a hard time making up your mind you'll be there awhile; they have so many choices for sandwiches and yummy desserts. Every time we go to Salida we stop at Sweetie's for lunch. The only thing I have a problem with is everyone has to walk thru the kitchen to get to the restroom; right thru the prep area. The food is wonderful! There is artwork for sale on the walls as well as ALL of their rewards, a lot of them hanging there. The staff is a young group, they kind of remind me of a group of hippies for some reason. They are all very pleasant. You have to stop by, make the time.

So good! I enjoyed the Philly and boy was it HUGE! The staff was young and full of good energy. Dancing is allowed 😉

We were there for lunch and we both had the Flaming Goat. It's grilled, with bacon, avocado, pesto mayo, goat cheese, lettuce, and tomato on honey wheat. We skipped the pesto mayo and tomato - that's just too much juice on a sandwich for me! Avocado provides enough juiciness and is such a delicious, buttery spread. Not to mention it's heart-healthy. The bacon isn't so heart healthy but it's our vacation so we splurged!! And it was such a delicious sandwich! We went back later for the carrot cake bar and that was wonderful as well. I'd eat there every day if I could because the menu is extensive and you could probably have something different every day of the month - maybe two months! We'll definitely stop back in when we return to Salida. Thanks, Sweetie's!!

We had a great vegan lunch here. The med sandwich. Plenty of hot and cold sandwich options with some yummy chip and drinks as well. Plenty of pastries that looked great and individually wrapped. Friendly, fast service with order online as an option.

I love sandwiches. I really do! I will drive far and wide for a good quality sandwich and good quality meats. But this place takes the cake! The Sears tower melts in your mouth and make your eyes roll in the back of your head. It’s ridiculous how good it is! Do yourself a favor, if you’re in town, go by sweeties and get yourself a sandwich. It’s worth the money!

Vegan options are pretty limited. There’s only one unmodified vegan sandwich (The Med). The main flavor on the sandwich is the “hummus of the day,” so at least the sandwich would be a little different each time. That day’s hummus was crushed red pepper, so it had some spice and I really enjoyed it.
There’s a sizable vegetarian list, but all have cheese and/or veggies that are cooked in butter.

The Don Draper was fantastic, the pastrami was excellent and Horseradish Harvati. Big fan.

Food is great, if you do not like a loud atmosphere call ahead and order.

Sweeties is the best sandwich shop in town. Lots of great choices so when you binge on one too long, which I do, you can switch to another just as good. Try the New Porker or the Shipwreck, two excellent sandwiches.
