The Train Cars Coffee and Kava

The look and feel of this place is amazing. Going in to what feels like a train to get breakfast was a lot of fun! The menu is on the smaller side (which makes sense for a tiny little train style eatery). Based on the amount of food I got and the quality of it, it's my opinion that the price is a little high. The drink selection was great though!

The coffee is excellent, and the decadent little donuts are a true guilty pleasure. You get to sit inside an old train car, which is really fun. There is also a lot of outdoor seating if the weather is cooperating. You can’t really see their sign to know what’s there, so just go to the train car.

I loved this place! It is so unique and quaint. You sit in an old train car and we ate fresh cinnamon donuts that they make fresh right there every day and a great cup of coffee. They also serve delicious ice cream.

The smell of fresh mini donuts and delicious espresso beckon you up the steps to the train car. The ladies here are super nice with tons of energy. It was crazy busy when we were here but they moved through the line quick! Food was great and the seating turnover was quick.

Cute little coffee shop. Unique and one of a kind. The gentlemen behind the table was friendly and lots of books in the back. My coffee was warm and delicious. I ordered a strong black coffee. He seemed surprised but I quit the guilty stuff when I needed more caffeine. But awesome delicious stuff. They sell bags there too

I came here with some family members during the Christmas break. We ordered coffee & donuts, which were delicious, but their quality was sadly overshadowed by the poor customer service we received. My elderly father, who is from a different country, was ordering a drink, then changed his mind (before they'd started making the coffee or he'd paid for it). The woman working there threw his designated paper coffee cup on the ground out of frustration. It was rude and unprofessional. I was shocked, and very disappointed.

I'm not sure if she had something against my father or the country he is from, or if she was having a bad day. I truly hope it wasn't some form of discrimination. Either way, this rude interaction ruined our experience.

We LOVE the Train Cars Coffee and Yogurt Co! What a great place to come and enjoy a hot or cold treat. King Soopers is just next door for any shopping needs you might have. And for a fun time with the whole family, stop next door for the Carousel of Happiness!

Coffee is great, and the donuts and yogurt. The issues we had were around the other items and the slow service. We had a chili braut and a salmon lox bagel. The kitchen consisted of two microwaves and a flat electric skillet. As you can imagine, the cook standard is not met. My suggestion, go here for a coffee and mini donuts. The ambiance is great and the setting is nostalgic, so that's a big plus. I would advise against going for a meal though.

Great coffee. My wife and I stopped here on our beautiful drive through the mountains and enjoyed this stop very much. The staff was so friendly and the refurbished train was quite a sight to see. Will be stopping again if I get the chance.
