The Train Cars Coffee and Kava

Loved the coziness of this coffee shop. We spent a couple hours hanging out here. Coffee was good! Very unique and staff was very nice.

Really cute stop! My friend got a chai latte and loved it. I got the lavender lemonade and also enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this spot for a stop for a hot or cold drink.

How can you wrong here?? I really don't know how they're not solid 5 stars. This has been my 5th or 10th time here over the years. Kind people, quality coffee made right and the most delicious little donuts! This time I was in a few days working in the back of one of the train cars. Wifi was solid, comfy, great ambiance, good music (especially when the reggae was on!). Thanks for a great experience everytime.

Easily my new favorite coffee shop! We’ll stop by on the way to Eldora every time. Hot chocolate was wonderful and the apple
cider was hot and full of cinnamon. The tiny donuts were crispy, hot, and not too sweet, which is perfect. Great prices for a great treat!

Spent $7 on the worst drink ever. I ordered an iced kava coffee. I was given a lukewarm cup with 3 ice cubes floating in it of extremely watered down coffee. My husband had a sip and said it tasted like he left the last sip of an iced coffee in his hot car and the ice all melted and also someone stuck an incense stick into it. Very accurate description.

We drove our out of town guest 52 min to your establishment for coffee and doughnuts and I wish I could say it was worth it. Coffee was fine and doughnuts were ok but it was the service that ruined it all. When paying customers are enjoying your establishment the last thing you want them to feel is unwanted. Removing the plant from my table while i was eating followed by the ever so rude announcement of “Let me know when your done with the table cause we need to get the band in here” was the topper! How about when I stand up and finish you’ll know I’m finished and leaving. OR how about you not put a reggae band as such a priority on a Saturday at 10 am over your customers. Not worth the hour drive in any way. Treat your people nicer, you never know how long people traveled to try your food!

Loved the coffee shop vibe, felt like going back in time. The shop was very clean and organized. The coffee and donuts were delicious. Dan was very friendly and fun to chat with. We will be visiting again!

Very cool and unique coffee shop. Coffee was a heavier roast but still ok. The history of the cars was cool to see with the information placards.

The cutest little place to get donuts and they're absolutely delicious! Worth the stop
