The Coffee Trader

Strong coffee. Drip is not terribly expensive. Convenient location. Lots of cozy places to sit. Hip enough to laugh out loud with friends, but not so loud you can't hear conversation. Conference room upstairs that can be reserved via calendar at the downstairs counter.

Best BLUEBERRY SCONES we have ever tasted !!! Their Orange-Cranberry scones were also Excellent. The young staff were super nice and extremely sharp and efficient. I suggest that you call there first, if you are after something specific, as not all baked items are made there every day and they are so GOOD that they often sell out !

I essentially grew up in this store as a kid. It was a welcome respite from the typical big box starbucks garbage. Unfortunately, today there were 20+ people inside, and not one. single. mask. to be seen. I take care of a 90 year old. I wear a mask for him. I wear a mask for you. I wear a mask for those too illiterate to understand how basic virus transmission works. Until it is required to wear a mask in this place, I will leave the 1 star up. Cheers, stay safe, and remember that viruses don't care what political party you belong to.

I love EVERYRHING about Coffee Trader!!! The staff is wonderful! The owners are involved around town in so many ways showing their ongoing support. We are so lucky to have 3 locations in our town! Their coffee and pastries are DELICIOUS!!!!!!

Great coffee and really good breakfast sandwiches served all day! And my dog loved the garden!

The downtown location is the cutest coffee place in Montrose. There is plenty of sports to relax inside and outside. The owners are wonderful and you can really feel that they care about this place. Everything on the menu is great and even the burritos in the morning are wonderful!

Great coffee . Awesome selections . Good service. I would definately recommend. You don't find many coffee shops that serve good coffee anymore. Prices are reasonable. I got a hot Italiano (white chocolate steamed milk and espresso) delicious !

Coffee was awesome! They totally have that down. The kids inside were sweet and treated you like a regular. The food however, was sad at best. It definitely needs some tuning.

The coffee is amazing, smooth espresso (decaf). The flavor was delight. I got Decaf mocha and my wife White mocha, smooth creamy texture.
