Coffee Trader is hands down best coffee, tea and baked goods. Muffins scones all super. Love this place!!! Best in Montrose but would be the best in much bigger markets, great place!

Best sausage burrito I think I've ever eaten. The mocha was fabulous. Would rather "wake-up" at this cute coffee shop than Starbucks.

Great patio. The staff was friendly and present at 8:30 am on a Wednesday. They have tiger spice chai, hot breakfast sandwiches, and local art on the walls. The coffee is delicious!

Adorable! Great coffee! Beans for sale! Love it. Love it. I always love a good coffee shop inside of a cozy house. Definitely the place to go.

Excellent coffee and service. I stopped in with my laptop on a Tuesday morning to get some work done and three was a steady flow of business in the 2 hours I was there. They serve pastries and panini sandwiches. They looked excellent, but I only had the coffee. Friendly staff that seemed to know everyone that walked in. Lots of laughter and chatter. Slightly disruptive for me, but I loved the overall ambiance if the place. I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

What a cute place. I loved my caramel mocha (with no whipped cream...after phone call, did you want whipped cream...wait you said no whipped cream...so of course as he's making my beverage I said, by the way no whipped cream...it was funny, you had to be there) and my chocolate chip cookie for the road. I believe he was the owner and wonderful sense of humor. So friendly and nice. Laugh and energy, contagious! I'll stop in again when I'm back in town. Thank you!!! ❤

This is the best coffee shop I've ever been to. I say that for some somewhat intangible reasons but I found The Coffee Trader a wonderful experience. I love the use of the old house, the decor, and the indoor and outdoor seating options. Of course my coffee was amazing. The roast was delicious. The service was quick. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I just wish I didn't live 1,000 miles away.

We were just at the location on 5th street and it’s a really cute little place! Great selection of ceramic mugs (pretty as well as humorous). Comfy leather-covered seats, and great outdoor seating on a patio surrounded by flowers. All the servers were really nice and kept the place spotless. Good coffee too.

This Coffee Trader location is absolutely they best in Montrose! It has by far the best coffee in the best in the entire area, but the employees and service are what makes it the most amazing. As a transplant, you don’t often feel as welcomed in local businesses since you’re not a life long resident, and hat is not the case here! Brandy, Chris, and every other regular employee at this location have had the most kind, helpful, and outgoing attitudes and customer service I have seen in a local establishment in a long time. These girls and guys served Montrose through the pandemic, upheld the businesses mask mandate (which was not easy to do here), and never once had a bad attitude towards a customer or another employee. And I do go there regularly. Hands down the best place to go and the best customer service you’ll find anywhere close to Montrose!

Couldn't ask for a better coffee shop! Been coming here since the day they opened. I love getting my usual Mystic Mesa Avalanche and the burritos and panini's are amazing! On top of the great drinks and food, the staff is unbelievable! It's always great to walk in and have them call out to you by first name and ask how my day is going or how the family is! It's great that they are all so personable and delightful. Great place for everyone and anyone!
