Stayed in town during a ski vacation in February and stopped by here every morning at 7 am before heading to the slopes. Always a (short) line outside—a good sign. Delicious filling Western breakfast burrito, tasty eclairs.

Great place to relax and refuel after hiking Mt. Elbert. HEADS UP... They have vegetarian options!!! The lemon poppy muffin was SPECTACULAR ♡ Thanks for the fast, efficient, and kind service.

I hate that they microwave the burritos and quiches but they're still delicious. Chai was great, service was great.

I spent three nights in Leadville and every morning I went to City on a Hill for a mocha for me and my son. Both of us were very pleased with them. I also bought a cinnamon roll one morning and it may have been the best cinnamon roll I ever had. I highly recommend the place.

food was delicious and the place is so cute. We called ahead so it would be ready.

Best coffee and baked goodies you will find in Leadville! Be sure to plan your arrival accordingly, this is a popular spot with a consistent line out the door.

It’s a nice coffee shop. They used to have good cinnamon rolls, but I can’t speak for my last visit because they sold out before I got there. 🥲

I mean…. It’s a coffee shop 🤷🏻♂️. I’m giving at least 3 stars because of the way the shop actually looks(awesome). But when you walk in you are not greeted with a smile or good energy from your baristas.(they look miserable) also the espresso is almost like something you would expect from someone who is miserable! Baristas are in some of the toughest customer service positions out there. They need to be on there game to be successful.
