We are visiting the area and stopped for a treat and coffee. The eclair is to die for and the coffee is great. Nice atmosphere.

Stopped in here after backpacking. Quick, friendly service. Tasty food. We split a brownie and sammy that came with a choice of side (super fresh salad for us). I don't drink coffee but my gf said it was a tasty latte. All at an honest price. Cool wooden topographic artwork of Colorado mountains for sale. Cozy rustic cabin look.

Great coffee shop and a cozy place to sip, eat, talk, surf the internet or play some cards - especially on a cold, snowy day in June. Great friendly service. Will come here again.

LGBTQ+ friendly even though it isn't listed on Google. Get there early for the BEST stuff. It sells out fast! Peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and brownie were both good. Would definitely come back.

As a first experience, I liked what I got: iced chia latte and eclair square. I paid about $9 for what I got. The tea was well balanced and the square was delicious! I wanted a double espresso, but the machine was broken when I went. Oh well.

Truck driver, making a local delivery. TOP NOTCH. Everything appears and tastes like it is prepared in house. Scone and vegetarian quiche, paired with Father Dyer coffee. 👍👍. Cozy leather seating with mellow folk background music.

Great coffeehouse with laid back vibe and occasional solo musician. Maybe avoid on weekend winter mornings when the sole counter person might get overwhelmed with the ski crowd.

City on a Hill is one of my favorite stops on my way from Phoenix to northern CO or Wyoming. I usually make the drive a couple times a year and I will go out of my way to stop for a soy chai latte in Leadville every time. The place has a great vibe, the staff is always super friendly, and even though the kitchen might take a couple extra minutes to put a sandwich together, it’s worth it to take a few minutes to relax inside, especially during the winter when the cozy interior is a welcome respite from the chilly weather.

Dropped the kids off nearby for some ziplining and decided to walk around Leadville to kill a little time and ended up here. Great coffee shop which was bigger than expected. The bakery items looked great and we enjoyed the eclair in a nice comfy oversized leather sofa. We would definitely recommend as a fun stop to make while in town.

Ordered 3 burritos. Went and sat down because I wanted them warmed. Sat down for maybe 10-15 minutes waiting patiently. I got up and the girl at the counter said she forgot about me and that she wasn't there today in her head! Apparently I wasn't there either?!?! I would of expected a free cookie or something else if I had to wait for nothing. I love the burritos but I hate going in there. It's so fru fru and people forget that I'm there waiting on them! What a joke! There is no good breakfast in Leadville.
