Nice little spot. Staff is super overwhelmed makes it a little chaotic. But that’s how it goes when government hands out free money to people who won’t work. The staff is doing the best they can. But the food is great I recommend it to anyone driving through or here in town. Great food.

I was on vacation and came here almost every morning for a week. It’s a cute local place and the staff is really friendly. The service is fast. I enjoyed everything I ordered. If you come and get a coffee I recommend getting an iced coconut brûlée with extra caramel. For breakfast I also recommend getting Christy’s breakfast burrito! It’s delicious. The everything bagel with the chive and onion cream cheese is also really good! I definitely love this place. If I lived in the area then I would make it one of my regular places to go.

My husband and I had lunch here on 02/27/2020. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The employees delightful and with a great sense of humor. My husband had the chicken bacon wrap. It was very loaded. They brought him a fork just in case... I ordered the chef salad with caution. I just can not stand when you order a salad and get a bowl of ice berg. That is NOT the case here. I had a beautifully plated (bowled) salad with lots of turkey, ham, cucumber, tomatoes and other deliciousness. I especially appreciated the effort that went into the eggs. They were perfectly sliced and laid out across the top of the salad.

The next table had some absolutely scrumptious looking pancakes. We haven't had breakfast yet and the thought of those pancakes is making me hungry so we are about to head back for breakfast.

I would recommend the Lava Java as the best place we have tried in Granby after several visits and plenty of restaurants.

My husband and I were traveling from Florida and stopped at this lovely cafe for breakfast.We ordered a egg sandwich on an english muffin, burrito, and pancake- which were all delicious! My most favorite part was my pumpkin spice latte that tasted better than starbucks! I was beating myself up for not ordering a larger one ;). In addition, the staff was very friendly which makes everything better!

If you're at Grand Lake, make the trip out to Granby to try out some amazing brunch food. I had a Skillet, which was gigantic AND was insanely delicious! Their food is clearly homemade, and they source their coffee from Elevation (very flavorful and good variety). Their green chile pork sauce is a must try! If you like breakfast burritos, they have several kinds AND are quite large. Expect to feel full after eating!

Wait time was average for a place that makes their food from scratch. You'll wait a bit, but it's worth it. We waited about 10-15 minutes total, and the food was SO fresh and delicious!

Their prices are quite reasonable for the proportion of food they're providing, too. I made the mistake of not taking a picture of my food; trust me, it's excellent!

We found this gem about a year ago because we are building a home in the area. The staff are friendly, accommodating a treat you like family. The food is made to order and excellent! They have some simple menu choices as I dont like a the exotic meals some places serve. We visit every time we are in the area and it will be one of our favorite places we we live here permanently!!

Not impressed with this place at all and will not be coming back. Last week I went there for breakfast and waited about 15 to 20 minutes for an egg sandwich and hash Browns (it was not crowded at all). After waiting patiently I went up to ask about my food just to find out it was forgotten about and getting cold on the counter. I went back this morning to give it another shot, which was a mistake. I got another egg sandwich, got all the way to work and discovered I did not get the 2nd egg that I had to pay extra for. Not worth your time. Drive a little further and go to Sharkys in fraser they rock! But you guys do not.

Definitely stop in to see these people! Breakfast was great. Linda had a scramble and I had a breakfast burrito... Terrific! Best of all... All the different kinds of coffee you might want!

Very pleased with this place, we stopped for breakfast. I had pancakes but my friends had a breakfast burrito that looked awesome 👍. They said it was really good. The coffee ☕, the OJ, atmosphere was friendly, and a definite to return to for a tasty and friendly place.

Awesome food, great staff, and the owner was very friendly. The owner even made a special order for us that wasn't on the menu. Whenever we are in the area we will definitely go back and eat there again.
