Carriage Shoppes Tea Room

This place was so quaint and beautiful. The food was amazing and portioned well. We had several different dietary restrictions that they accommodated easily. Ohhh, and the tea was delicious and served in delicate tea cups. Will be going back in the future.

Wonderful place!!! If you want to have a great experience of local food, that's for you. Neat, clean place with little dining rooms, home style food, great music, and welcoming owners. The food was good, although don't expect big plates, it was more European style and size))) After lunch we explored the shop, and that was also fun. Highly recommended!

I went to this lovely tea house this afternoon with my 4 year old daughter, mother and sister. The four of us had our own private room which I really appreciated, especially during this pandemic. I can’t believe how much fun we had! The food was SO delicious and so plentiful! This isn’t your tiny cucumber sandwich tea room. For starters I had the strawberry feta bacon salad. Then came the monte crusty sandwiches, cheddar bacon quiche, chicken salad croissant sandwiches, cheese stuffed mushrooms, scones, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. Lastly we had a delicious bread pudding. The service was great. Afterwards we spent about an hour pursuing the lovely shop it is attached to and some others on the same street. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with great company!

Wonderfully cozy and beautiful place. Delicious food and tea, the place was very clean and well decorated. The owner takes so much pride in her work and you can tell. She is very passionate about what she does.
My mom and I had a great time and we will definitely be back.

I visited the Tea House today for the 1st time. I'd heard many good things about it, but if anything they underrated it. It was DELICIOUS!! It is casual but elegant, the Cinnamon vanilla tea, is wonderful! The food is suberb and the service is some of the best I've ever had! I'll definitely be coming here again! What a gem we have here in Elizabeth!

So amazing, quaint, luxurious. A hidden gem in our little rural surprise of Elizabeth. The service is over the top, the food options are perfect and delicious and then they offer a wonderful selection of teas and desserts. It is such a treat. I am so grateful they are here! Everytime someone new comes to visit me, I offer them this gift.

High tea with my two sisters for my mom’s birthday was more than we expected. We knew we’d be pleased, but from the time we walked in the door, to the time we left, we were treated so warmly, as if we were their only customers, and the place was packed. The level of hospitality felt like were visiting a relative’s house. The staff was nice, the customers were nice, the tea and food was delicious. We will be visiting again!

I have been looking forward to trying Carriage Shoppes Tea Room. I was not dissapointed! I had the Chicken salad on croissant with Potato soup as my side, Delicious and filling! My friend got the ham and cheese strudel. She said it was wonderful! We finished with a scone and Devonshire cream with fruit spread, amazing! I brought home some sugar cookies for my kids and they were very happy with them and wanted to know when I'd go back to get them more 😊...The service is also great!

The food was the best I have ever had at a Tea room. The portions were generous. First time I was full at a tea room and did need a steak afterwards. You will not be disappointed! Drove up from NM to visit, well worth the drive!

So enjoyed this quaint teahouse! Food was fabulous.
