Carriage Shoppes Tea Room

Absolutely gorgeous tearoom with delicious food! The spinach salad, stuffed mushroom and scones were our favorites! We celebrated my husband’s birthday with high tea / afternoon tea and we both had a wonderful time. We left completely stuffed and we had even skipped breakfast to prepare for this! We will definitely be back. The owner chatted with us and she was so kind, and she responded quickly to my emails prior to our arrival as well. This place is absolute gem in Elizabeth!

Four ladies and one 10 year old enjoyed a wonderful experience at the Carriage Shoppes Tea Room for High Tea. The food was absolutely amazing- Monte Cristo sandwiches; beef tenderloin sandwiches; marinated mushrooms; crab cakes; and a delicious assortment of desserts. Everyone was able to get their own pot of tea- which was refilled during the lunch! Christine (owner) was so personable and skilled as was the young lady who helped her. We were in our own room which made it even more special! I would highly recommend this place for either High Tea or lunch!

This place is so great! They are under new ownership and had some different vendors than my visits in the past. They have a lot of gourmet foods and snacks. I made a basket of goodies and grabbed a lovely candle. A great local place for a quick gift!!

Had a wonderful Christmas High Tea. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was excellent. Already booked for next Christmas High Tea. Don’t miss out on a special event with lots of memories ❤️

My daughter and I flew into CO to visit my sister and brother-in-law for the long weekend! What a treat it was to visit this shop. We literally could have spent all day there! There is so much to see and ogle over! Attached one little picture of the cutest little craft - we loved it so much, the little mouse that knits! Didn't even know there was food there. The place was all decked out for the holidays and so it just was so warm and inviting and the smells are "oh so good"! Next time I visit Elizabeth, you can rest assured that I will be visiting here again!!

The best place for lunch in Elizabeth. Amazing selection of teas. Prep and cooking done on site...delicious beyond all competitors. Great surroundings, wonderful, super friendly owner and staff.

Top notch service and exquisite HIGH TEA at the carriage shoppes... the food is the best I've had and the list of teas are amazing. Great anytime for any reason but Christmas is extra special.

My daughter and I have been to several teahouse, mostly high teas. We found this one to do one of the best. Liked the individual rooms and the full courses meal rather than the more traditional snack size portions. Tea was very good as was the food. Service was great. Our only complaint is we prefer authentic atmosphere, ones that take you back in time to Victoria era high teas. But this house definitely deserves a return visit.
