Mellow Moon Lodge

This is an awesome gem in Del Norte. The new owner, Lauren, is amazing and available for any and all needs at all times. She really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and have everything that you need. This would be a great place to stay if you are in town to go skiing in the summer or rafting/fishing in the winter. She told me she is planning to add a bar/restaurant in the near future and I can't wait to go back and see it. 5 stars!

I only stayed 1 night during a business trip in March but it was wonderful, plusI loved being able to take my new pup with me! I give this a 5 Star rating all around because that's what the accommodations felt like to me. Not only great customer service from hands on owner Lauren, but also a dog friendly place with top notch room designs, comfort, and high quality travel essentials. Hope to go back this summer just for a fun getaway!!

Really nice place to stay in Del Norte. Lauren, the owner, does a great job of communicating and the overall vibe is, in fact, mellow. It's a motel with parking right outside the rooms. The decor shows taste and effort. The bar is a work in progress, but the trailer serves drinks and simple but tasty food. Recommended!

We had a very nice stay at the Mellow Moon Lodge. This place is a wonderfully surprising gem in Del Norte. When you arrive, it looks like you might expect a nostalgic motor lodge to appear - and then you get inside the room and it's a refreshing combination of tasteful and retro decor. The room had a very fresh, clean, and updated appearance, and we especially liked all the attention given to making the environment delightfully different from the standard overnight places: the towels and linens that weren’t just plain white, the environmentally conscious accoutrements, the coffees and teas that were specialized, etc. Well done! This is *definitely* a place worth searching out, and I will absolutely keep this at the top of my list of places to stay whenever I need an overnight in the area.

The mellow moon was an awesome stop on an even more awesome trip to see some of my favorite people. Conveniently located with friendly and attentive staff. Lots of cool trinkets made by local artists for sale in the lobby as well. I can’t recommend this cute place enough.

We stumbled upon the Mellow Moon Lodge and enjoyed our stay immensely! The room was lovely with lots of extra touches that made us feel warm, cozy and welcomed! I highly recommend staying here! (The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was natural and smelled so good, not to mention the cozy robe) Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s a great spot that has been thoughtfully renovated. Comfy beds, clean, and wonderful service! I thought it was neat too that they provide environmentally conscious toiletries and coffee/tea in the room from small businesses. Lauren is always super responsive and helpful. Thanks!

This little gem of a place is fabulous! I stay here weekly for work. So quaint and cozy and Lauren's the best! She will do anything she can to make your stay better! Check them out... you won't be disappointed! Something about this place...I just feel at home there!

I didn't want to leave! This was hands down the best motel experience I've ever had. The bed and sheets were so nice, they had excellent hygiene products, comfy robes to stay in and had excellent coffee choices. Thank you so much Lauren for making my stay so cozy. I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to anyone.

What a cool discovery! This mod hotel in the middle of nowhere was the surprise of my road trip. Excellent accommodations with a super comfortable bed, cool interior design with a midcentury feel and the most excellent custom made diffuser. The owner and her team were incredible. Super attentive. One minor thing... I could have used a small desk and chair in the room to use the laptop. But the bed was so comfortable it made up for the desk.
